4/14 Dam Area

Fished Friday. Was a nice day but got pretty windy later in the day. Fished big island around the dam and other areas nearby. Caught about 10 smallmouth between me and a buddy in a couple hours of fishing. I can’t ever seem to catch a big one on beaver , they were all 10-12 inches. 3.25 inch swimbait on 1/4 oz jigheqd. I was  fishing 5-20 feet of water. I’m thinking I may need to focus on deeper water fishing to target bigger fish. Nonetheless we had fun.
