Bassin4fun
My grandson's soccer game was canceled, so I decided to go try my luck at LOZ in my yak. I launched at Gravois Mills. I was on the water and fishing gear by 6:30am. The water temps for the day were in the low to mid 70's. I fished channel swing bank and the shallow flat side as well. I fished until 2pm. I ended up with 15 bass, only one dink of a keeper that measured about 15.5". I did lose one that looked as though it would have measure 16-17". I caught one on a spinnerbait and the rest on a Texas rigged, Zoom Craw. The bass I caught were shallow. I saw a lot of empty beds in the pockets I went up into. I may have had better quality in main lake or fishing deeper. It was still fun as most of the fish were in that 12-14" range and were fighters. Didn't take any pics this trip. kjackson and grizwilson
