Members Person01 Posted June 30, 2023 Members Posted June 30, 2023 Hello, looking for any tips or tricks to catch fish on Bull shoals this time of year. I’m not looking to steal anyone’s “spot” just curious about what colors and types of lures people are having success with as well as general depth fish are being found in. I will likely put in at the access point around Isabella mo. I have only fished Bull shoals once, I usually go to Norfork. Looking to target bass and maybe try for a walleye.

I picked up a couple varieties in red yesterday hoping to try them out tonight on bull shoals if the lake traffic isn’t too bad in the evening. Daryk Campbell Sr 1

Those should be chomping at night with this moon phase. Big red plastic worms and jig should be the trick . If you’re putting in at Spring Creek you’re in a good night fishing waters and don’t have to travel far . Good Luck and post after your trip .

Went out last night. Lots of big wake boats in the area to the left and behind spring creek access. I fished the big worm Texas rigged with a 5/0 hook and 1/2oz Texas rigged weight. I broke a rod in half throwing the big worm lol. I guess it was too heavy for the rod, I didn’t think it would be but my broken rod says differently. It was a fairly old rod so perhaps it was just its time to go. Phil Lilley 1
