Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 1, 2008 Root Admin Posted January 1, 2008 Had a great (cold) time today. Good food (it was cold), great fellowship. Had about 15 (cold) people show up on a real *cold* day. And did I mention it was windy?! Gezzzz.... Put a tarp up just so Terry could keep his burners going. Thanks everyone for bringing food and refreshments. We'll need to get MDC to enclose the pavilion next year.
Danoinark Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Sorry I couldn't stay for the lunch guys and gals. My grandson, after fishing for an hour or so wasn't feeling real great, so we decided to call it a day. Did get one little beautifully colored stocker size on a rainbow warrior midge. Good to see the all the folks I ran into and sorry I missed everyone else. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Gary Lange Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Knowing them it would be a screen enclosure. Had a great time and it was nice seeing everyone again. Lets all hope for better weather next year as it was a tad bit colder and windier then I like it. Respect your Environment and others right to use it!

jjtroutbum Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Well I finally made it home. After a couple of naps a rest stops. O'Boy I'm getting old only 24hrs of fishing, eating, and shivering and I'm really pooped. Seem to have misplaced a pair of Hemos anyone find them? Had a great time caught lots of fish (lost count by 2am on the first) and a few nice ones also. Ummm seahorses, smoked chicken, spicy meatballs, fried fish and sides galore. Fishing under fireworks(flashing lights don't attract squid do they?), lots of Laughs, stories, and fishing with friends new and old. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 2, 2008 Root Admin Posted January 2, 2008 How about the skin... are they slowing you down? I can change it back if you want.
Don Posted January 2, 2008 Posted January 2, 2008 Nope. I didn't find any hemos. I had a great time meeting a few of you and visiting with the alumni. I would like to have seen a few others but the cold thinned out the herd Man the food was awesome. I fished for about an hour with JJ and Steve. I picked up three quick stockers on a black WD40 and had a few other takers. Happy New Year. Don May Don May I caught you a delicious bass.

Terry Beeson Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Had a great time, guys. Those who didn't show up missed some GREAT food! The donuts, the meatball sandwiches, the seahorses, the stuffed peppers, the chicken... ALL really good... And wish you had been there cuz there was LOTS left to eat. Yeah... I lost a pair of hemos down there as well... Next year I'm bringing a lot more corn nuggets... Dang... I'm STILL cold!!! Hey Michael... The ducks were flyin' all over me and Duane that mornin'...
