Cane Polls?

I have caught hundreds of fish on Cane Pole. 

See people fishing from the bank throw their line far as they can. 

 

Then that evening set Bank lines out and cast from the Boat to the bank. 

Why not use a Cane Pole or even Willow Pole?

I have about 20 Rods and Reels just wondering.

    They were the original fly/tenkara rods. Dipping rod too 

flexible stick with a horsehair line. Hazel shoots, willow, bamboo, and other flexible woods made for ideal rod building material.

  Use the heck out of them old boy. Cheap and efficient.
