Members breeves2245 Posted April 7 Members Posted April 7 I've only fished Beaver out of Prairie Creek and once at Indian Creek. I don't fish offshore because I'd rather jump off my porch onto a pocket knife. I usually can get a few on topwater up the Prairie Creek arm or maybe around the islands as I fish at first light. Question - are there any areas/coves in Beaver that hold vegetation/grass? Up the river arms? I'm guessing from Prairie Creek to the dam it's all rock and timber. Got a trip planned in May for Millwood to hopefully find something other than rock/timber. It's tough to have a low fishing IQ!
Quillback Posted April 7 Posted April 7 There's a little vegetation, but it is just a little. Smallmouth are going to be close to the banks pretty soon if not there already. Might be going over there tomorrow so I'll hopefully find them. Lake has come up 7 feet, has some stain, fishing should be getting good. snagged in outlet 3 1
