I would like to get an 1873 Springfield trap door carbine (replica). .45-70 govt. $1,500 for one, it would basically be a range toy, but sure would like to have one.

That sharp little metal buttplate hurt bad, I had to get one of those slip on rubber recoil pads for it. I can only imagine one in 50, would have to be a handful. Quillback 1 -Austin
