Danoinark Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Looks like a great gathering...and you REALLY don't want to miss Steve's B and G's. It starts the day off just right. I plan on christening my new (old)short Phillipson glass rod too. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
Steve Smith Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 Rusty; yes, I am talking the last parking lot in the fly only zone. Look for an old creme colored Ford Explorer with plates "O-GRAT1". Welcome ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
Rusty Posted October 30, 2007 Posted October 30, 2007 Thanks Steve. If I make it, is there anything I can bring, as far as food is concerned?
Steve Smith Posted October 30, 2007 Author Posted October 30, 2007 We always have plenty of of breakfast Rusty. We will have a propane grill setup at lunch time and a camp stove in the same place, and we'll have dogs, buns, hot and mild salsa. If there is something special you like, bring it along. There is always plenty. ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
Rusty Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I am thinking about bringing my 7 yr. old daughter. Anyone else bringing any curtain climbers? She does fish, but she also likes to throw rocks, chase bugs, and in general, likes to find friendly mischief to get into.
Flysmallie Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Rusty, I was thinking about bringing my 8 year old daughter, but the wfie won't let me take her out of school. She's missed a couple of days a week or so ago when she was sick. We should try to get them together sometime. Then we could fish. Â Â
ollie Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 I'll be there around 9:00, can you save me a plate? Please? "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Steve Smith Posted November 1, 2007 Author Posted November 1, 2007 Ollie; if there is any left by 9:00, it will probably be good for gluing any loose felt on your wading boots. I'd opt for lunch. See ya ___________________________ AKA Flysmith - Cassville MO
ollie Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Gotcha. I'll be there for lunch then. I'll be driving a blue s-10 est. cab. I'd be there early if it weren't for the kids to take to school.
