ON another site when the ads pop up if you click them then the site gets some money. Funny thing is its a hunting site and PETAS ads pop up when the owner tol dus this we try to click the ads.

Is that true for this site also?

Trav:

Could it be that Hillary might help the Dems snatch "defeat out of the jaws of victory" again. I can't believe her rhetoric after each loss in the primaries. It sounds like she isn't reading the papers or looking at at the figures. It looks like there might be some secret weapon lurking in the halls of the smoke filled cronies. Can anyone say SUPER DELAGATES. It would be a shame to have the nominee chosen ignoring the choice of the electorate who went to the polls to cast their vote.

Trav .... thanks for the nice article on the lower lake and answering my questions.

Yes it is true. Google Adsense pays about $125/month right now. Used to pay about $300... stocks are down I guess.

I don't have any say who's ad appears on OA. The advertisers do. And they pay each time their ad is clicked, to a limit. If you sit and click the same ad several times over, it only counts as once. If you click into the site advertised and back out, it doesn't count. If you click into the site and look around, that's when it counts to both sites. That's my understanding.

I'm lucky, I guess, I'm not seeing any ads at all. Am I special? Anyone else? I guess it could be my firewall. I saw them before the forum upgrade, but not now.

Thom,

You almost sound like a democrat? Please say it aint so man! And you said the words snat@# and Hillary in the same sentence. EWWWWW!

Haha

Its all good. I stand firm when I say that there will be a black man as president before there will be a woman. And Obama just dont have the experiance. Dem or Rep, McCain is the clear choice in todays time of war.

Actually Trav I am an American which gives me the priveldege of withhold my choice until I consider all of the flip flopping from both sides. Both parties have embraced such a broad range of diversity that there isn't much difference between the two when I comes to performance. Party platforms are a joke.

I will wait until I see which McCain shows up on the ballot.. the one described by Romney and other prominent republicians as a far left liberal or the newly created image now being presented. I am not to enamored with Obama and Hillery is history unless she has a miracle before or during the convention. For many this election will be more of who we vote against not for. If It weren't for the swift boating of McCain when he was in the primary against facing Bush he would be the president now and would have had my vote.
