I've seen where some sites/forum have programs where people can upload pictures to their own gallery, kinda like a blog but pic, not text. Anyone interested in something like that? Invision has one but I wasn't impressed with it.

I dunno....Pics of fish for fishermen to look at.........Kinda sounds like a porn site for fishermen. :o

Just kidding I think a gallery would be fantastic. I don't catch many fish myself so if there were a gallery I could live vicariously through others by drooling over all the fish that other people catch.

I would rather be fishin'.

Phil,

I would say the # of views of your post would indicate that just the word "gallery" is going to get attention.

Galleries are fun to view and sometimes drool over, but for me there is always that "wonder how and where that fish was caught" thought.

Could a gallery be set up that provided the format for including a little story with it?

Heck, just a Forum category might work.

You could state in the intro that a brief (or not so brief) explanation of the angler's "experience" is encouraged to be included with the photo.

There are some great stories that accompany pictures of small fish, too, like someone's first fly rod caught something, a special trip, etc.

Wouldn't that work?

Yes, I believe a gallery would be an excellent idea. It would be the hottest topic on this website.

Absolutely! Maybe then I can apply all of the things I learn from the photography forum here. As Butts stated, I like the idea of including a little story with it.

You could use the blog for what you're talking about now... You'd have your own section and could post pics and stories there.

Sounds like a good idea if you ask me.

Maybe at the beginning of the thread, there can be directions on how to post pictures because that frustrates many people from not being able to post.
