DeHaviland Beavers are the work horse of Alaska. Two of these were built in the early 50's and the other in the early 60's.

This is at Yantarni Salmon Camp. It is located on the Pacific Coast side of the Aleutian Mountains. The salmon carving was done by me with a chainsaw on a whale jaw bone that I found on the beach. The jaw bone was over 12 feet long.

The entrance of Yantarni Salmon Camp. All the tents have wood floors, beds with mattresses linens and duvets, electrical outlets and wood stoves. The camp has heated showers and flushing toilets. Not too shabby for being 100 miles from closest road.

Late August and early Sept on the upper Naknek is a great time for the monsters of the monster bows.
