  1. congrats on a nice day Kee Sims! Fishrman, What was the water color in the Baxter area? Looks like the water in long creek has good color from just looking at the pictures.
  2. Wonder where the muddy water is to now?
  3. I hope to get tin the boat Saturday!!
  4. I will be most curious what the water temps will be. Could influence what I would try. But guessing I would start with a blade.
  5. AMEN
  6. Gibbs in republic. Very happy with the job they did on my seats.
  7. Call Randy Conlon at Purcell Tire. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
  8. Fished today. Got a little wet but well worth it as fishing is pretty steady on the wart and blade. Water temp from 13 to the darn is near a steady 53 degrees
  9. Wow, great to know. I had no idea and have changed my LU many times.
  10. Ok, I will bite. Why does it matter which plug you put where? I under stand that the magnetic plug will pull any shavings down to the plug. But is that the reason, so the shavings aren't floating around?
  11. I predict the wart or something resembling the wart will win it.
  12. I fished with Busby on Saturday and fished the solo on Sunday. I can tell you that both days were completely different! We caught all the weigh in fish on Saturday off one area mainly before 9:30 am. Sunday I was all over the place trying to catch a fish. I never caught more than one fish in any spot. It was the classic run and gun pattern. At 11:30 I had 2 squeakers. I made my last cull at 3:35 and left them biting. I wish I could go this week as it is going to get awesome!
  13. Got a chance to fish tomorrow. Wondering if anyone knows if the ramps are clear at Indian Point or Kimberling area?
  14. How much weight and why the James? I'm not fishing it but I am curious how it will go. I planned to fish it on the 29th. Actually scheduled a couple of days off to practice. But I won't go to Loz. Disappointed in the change.
  15. Can I go too. I would be glad to play the part of long lost cousin!?!?!?
  16. Congrats to Brett Groeteke for the win and catching the only two daily limits at the Central this weekend. I hope that the fishing improves soon. On that note what does everyone think it will take for the fish to start eating again and how long will that take? Will the BFL show a marked improvement in weights because of the A-rig? And one last question, will the BFL take more to win than the two day total from the CPA?

  18. A lot of coverage on BASSMASTER.com
  19. I agree. The Sears Platinum with 1150 cca is the way to go.
  20. Sure want to go fishing. But the few reports are all disappointing. Hope they start biting by the time I get to go.
  21. I would also throw the wart some on chunk rock. With the extreme cold we have had those bass may have moved up some now. Where did you fish out of? Was wondering if any ramps were open. Guess if you got out the answer is yes.
  22. Casted everything I thought would work from Whites Branch to Baxter. No luck and no patterns. Worried that all the fish may be starving. Very slow in my opinion.
  23. LOUSY.
  24. The Corp of Engineers is a joke not only now but as it was before the "shutdown"!
  25. That's great. I fished Saturday and it was not good. Did you have to go way up a fiver or just where the wood starts?
