  1. I have a 14 ft Jon boat with a 15 HP Suzuki on a mini jacker jack plate for sale. Good little boat has a home made deck and 42lb minn kota power drive trolling motor. Sitting on a decent trailer. $700 well worth the money Thanks
  2. Spoke to a game warden said it was just fine run anything you think you can. Its a river you can have a boat on it just don't be surprised when the floaters cuss you
  3. Im not planning on running Indian that would be a lil tight but want to run past Indian on elk or put in at pineville just would prefer to be legal.

  6. Went to the lower access this evening did OK caught a few mostly 8 to 10 inches though beautiful fish... prince nymph and zonkers
  7. Does it have a decent reel? I might be.
  8. Still wanting to trade or sell $175 obo
  9. I have a 1985 Procraft for sale, it has a Mercury 150 Black Max and runs out great. It is in really good shape for its age, and to the best of my knowledge everything works as it should. I would be willing to take it to the lake for a serious buyer. I have it on Joplin craigslist for $3700 but will sell it on here for $3200. I may be interested in a partial trade for a little 4x4 truck, flat bottom with a jet, guns, etc. You can call or text me at 417 621 6297 and I can send pics thanks. Josh

    White Bass?

ended up going to spring river this weekend instead caught 3 by 10 hwy bridge but they are still in the lower end as far as i could tell judging by the lack of boats up that high i would say that is a safe assumption hoping to hit stockton when the water comes up a bit

  14. not looking at anything even close to new looking at old functioning equipment age doesn't spook me!
  15. Im looking to build or buy a river boat it will primarily be used on elk for smallmouth spring river for whites and catfish and occasionally on tailwaters such as taneycomo and beaver. trying to decide riveted or welded jet vs prop tiller vs. console flat bottom or mod. how big of an outboard. cost is an issue looking 3000 bucks or so. any help ideas would be great thanks.
  16. Sounds like it will be a nice rod be nice to cast a mod action every now and then.
  17. I just picked up an Orvis Rocky Mountain 9' 6wt on ebay for $77 and was wondering if anybody knew anything about these rods. I cant seem to find much on them online and was curious. Thanks for any help!
  18. Looking to trade my Winston ascent 8 wt with a Pflueger supreme reel and Rio (i think) floating line. I am wanting a smaller rod...say 2 3 or 4 weight from a major rod maker. I may consider trades for other sizes and i don't necessarily need a reel with it. Rod has only been cast one time. Thank you
  19. Has anybody floated upper shoal creek recently,as in capps creek to smack out? I used to float it regularly and know its usually pretty brutal but excellent fishing. How is the water im sure its low but how many log jams will i have to portage ish? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
  20. Ill probably be throwing heavy clouser and crawdad patterns as well as some corks sounds like the 7 will probably be my choice. In the meantime looks like my 5 will have to suffice on sugar tomorrow. Do you guys typically throw a tapered or straight leader for your streamers? Thanks for your replies
  21. i am about to buy a new fly setup for doing some serious stream smallmouth fishing. I have done a little with my 4 and 5 weights in previous years but i am ready to get a 6 or 7 weight to chase after that 20 inches with a fly. What recommendations do you guys have for rod size/ line/ reels? Sink tip or floating? I have always been a Ross reels guy but open to suggestions and i am leaning towards a 7 weight diamondback flawless because i have one in 5 weight and love it. Thanks for your help
  22. I have two Ross Flystarts, one for my 3wt and one for my 5wt, and neither has ever let me down. That said, I just got a Flyrise and the drag system on it is freaking sweet, and worth every penny of the $100 it will set you back. I have never used a Flywater, but would imagine it is also a workhorse. Never been around an Orvis reel, but would imagine they are good reels as well, mostly personal preference.
  23. Thats definately good to know denjac, I don't believe a court appearance would go over well with the wife ! May try to get ahold of someone in the immediate area to see about a little access. If i can I will post back.
  24. I went dove hunting with a guy who guided for them opening day of dove season and he said they shut down. Can't find the website anymore either so must be the case, I always wanted to fish it for some fresh water but couldn't pay the cost of a new fly rod just to fish some private water. I have been ravaging the internet trying to find some access points and have only found one. May go try to do some scouting next week, who knows may be a gem.

    Eagles

That really sucks about the brown... but with current regs its hopeless and all a guy can do is get sick about it. If anybody happens across a couple small 6 compartment dry fly boxes full of bwo and hares ear parachutes I lost them last night at the log across the water about halfway between the access points. Heartbreaking i had just pulled all of them off the vise and it was their maiden voyage. oh well i guess ill zip my pockets next time!!!!
