I uses a double 1/16 oz jig combo,, sometimes when I am messing around I see a big school of shad and I just pitch and let the jig fall through the school, usually something bites before 15 feet, reel back slow and hang on.
I have real good luck this time of year slow trolling jigs in 15 to 25 ft of water off the bluffs, I just motor to a bluff, scan the area find a school or schools of fish and drop two jig rigs over the sides, on at 12 ft and one at 15 ft couple jigs to each line gives you lots of seperation and 4 different jig body colors , I move about 1.5 mph and work an area them move on, bite is usually pretty strong, and quite often, Do this on the big sac arm more than the little sac, also C C area when it gets a little colder. good luck
went Monday and Wednesday caught several shorts on Monday, and 3 keepers, on wed. we caught several shorts and 1 keeper,,, water is getting low, in two days we hit C C mutton creek, greeser creek, sons creek, googer creek, bridge piers, bluffs,,, just no luck,,, maby after the rain it will pick up...
pretty close to the same here, I brought home 12 keepers and My buddy had 2, he was not happy. all of ours came off 4to 6 ft of water some over brush, some around the trees.
I thought I seen you tuesday, I was up big sac fishing summerged trees, and doing real well, no walley but several crappie. did not fish the brush piles, I hate them things,,,
cant open the document, get a prompt saying I dont have a program or something like that... so can't comment on the article, but like fishbait3 said the limit is 15 or what ever your lake your on and there limit, If I catch 15 in an hour I am done,if it takes 8 hours to get 15 then I'm done. so what were some of the points on trolling.....
there is a real great alternate fishing type store in springfield,,, fin and feather,on south campbell south of bass pro, great little store great people working there, lots of good fishing advice too.

I may be in the area, red/silver tracker trx two fat guys in a boat. caught a lot of small ones up there last week, best keepers came from north of the boat docks west of CC ramp. good luck to you
I fished C C area twice last week, found lots of Crappie in the area, some brush piles held a lot of small fish, trees north of where you fished had some nice crappie on them. used minnows, and fished in the day time.
stockton sure has been a bummer this winter, slow and slower,,, all my good spots are at a zero catch, been fishing truman and Table rock. table rock is way slow too... maby get better soon I hope....
