  1. First one came on today. Good stuff.
  2. You have to forgive me. I've been in a funk since that debacle the Hogs put up on Thursday. On top of that our basketball team seems to be no different than it has been for the last 20 years. Hopefully my Chiefs won't let me down too.
  3. My bad. Ha.
  4. General area? Mid,River or lower?
  5. Found one! Thanks for looking guys.
  6. If anyone has one of these I need one asap. Call me at 479-530-1450 or send me a pm. Thanks folks
  7. If money was no object it would be seagaur tatsu.
  8. Neat stuff. Thanks for sharing
  9. You are getting Merc all excited with that spoon talk. Nice job. Love the pics. I am going crazy not being able to fish. Can't wait to get out there again.
  10. You as well! Happy Holidays!
  11. You aren't missing much. It is a lesser version of Table Rock?. It has actually gotten better the past few years.
  12. Ha. I sound like you and your beloved Spinnerbait now.
  13. It's more versatile than people realize. It's not just a vertical bait. I use it in the same places I throw a shakey head. It's great to throw around docks or cast out and reel it through suspended fish at a given depth. Plus you can put worms, craws, grubs, swimbaits or tiny flukes on it. There have been tournaments won fishing it shallow. I believe the Wood cup at Ouchita was won by a drop shot in an area with mud bottom with brush and lay downs. Good bait
  14. It's not long but it sure is skinny. ?. Four inches at 100 mph will get the job done. Ha
  15. Wow. When you put it like that it does seem a bit in the gutter. My bad
  16. Just curious what the adults want from Santa. I would like a new graph. 9 inches or bigger, new Hanby keel gaurd and some power poles or Talons. Im not asking for much? Hope everyone has a great Christmas. Most importantly I hope everyone has their health to be able to fish.
  17. Tough choice here. I would say a jig and drop shot. Both work year round.
  18. Champs would be a Spinnerbait and another Spinnerbait.
  19. Magic. If it works for you then I would stay with it. Confidence is everything.
  20. I use flouro. Braid has a tendency to float which wouldn't allow bait to sink as well. I would think all the line that is floating would cause more slack making it harder to hook up. When I marshaled at the Bassmaster tournament on TR the pro I rode with used 8lb flouro. He was cracken em that day. Those guys fish for a living. When they do something I pay attention. You guys need to try some of the Jackall Jerkbaits. Great colors and dive a little deeper.
  21. Spinnerbait talk makes Champs heart flutter.
  22. I would tell you to take nothing but the Jerkbaits with you to the lake. Leave the cranks at home. Throw it all day and nothing else. Try different cadences and different features on the lake. Points and secondary points are always a good place to start. If you know where brush piles are you can throw above them as well. Make sure the bait isn't floating up. You want them to suspend or sink super slowly. Easiest way for me to weigh them down is split rings. I throw Megabass a lot and they tend to be nose down out of the box. I add rings to the back hook first and adjust from there. There are plenty of good baits out there. You just want to make sure they don't sink too fast or come up to fast. 8lb line is a great size to use. You have to commit to it and you will grow to love the Jerkbaits. They seem to catch quality fish too. Good luck I hope this helped. Can't wait to get out there and catch some on a JB myself.
  23. Those pontoons sit on top of the water. So it's bobbing up and down all the time. I've been in a lot of different boats. The most stable seem to be fiberglass and a deep V. The best part about those deep v boats are the sidewalls. Depending on which one you get . They can be as tall as mid thigh. Be hard to get thrown if a big wave hit while you are fishing. I have a Skeeter 20i that has no sidewall. I prefer a bass boat. for me its overall more versatile. Sometimes I like to go fast too. ?. Fishinwrench would be the guy to talk to. He probably knows boats better than anyone on here. Good luck finding your boat.
  24. Haven't tried them out yet. I'll let you know after I do.
