  1. If your like me Champ. I will be looking in the trees or O.B. Lol. I did get a new Callaway Xhot 19 degree fairway wood that I am in love with. It's gonna help my game tremendously.
  2. Those hooks worked surprisingly well. They are thin and very sharp to penetrate.
  3. That is great. I know that most of us know someone just like that. I bet Champ knows some of the same as me. Kinda reminds us all that you have to be a stud to have your way paid for.
  4. Most expensive clothes hanger you can have right there. Lol
  5. I have one in phantom brown I would be willing to trade for a regular wiggle wart. It is Pre-Rapala.
  6. Yeah it was brutal Sunday. I left at 1 cuz I wasn't doing any good either. Slid my way out of Prairie Creek just to find out that the road was closed. Stayed at Tony C's and had a beer and a cheeseburger. After an hour road was cleared and I headed home. Crazy day.
  7. I tried this thing last summer. Didn't use it much. But I did find a lighted dock one evening with white bass swimming under it pretty heavily. Those whites were hammering that thing.
  8. Yeah. It was pretty bad.
  9. Well Quill it didn't happen. Not a bite. I left tourney early. I went under hwy 12 bridge and there were cars piled up. After my wife called and texted me several times to get off the water and no fish. I decided it was time to go. Funny thing is. I got boat loaded and slid my way out of Prairie Creek just to find out that Hwy 12 was closed on both sides of me. I had to wait at Tony C's for an hour til things got cleared. I was happy to get out of there and go watch the Superbowl. I just knew that Broncos minus 2.5 was gonna make my day all better. I should have stayed in bed.
  10. Thanks Wrench. I wasn't sure on those motors. I'm not an expert by any means. He definitely needs to do a compression test before he buys. Listen to Wrench he knows what he is talking about. Good luck I hope it works out for ya.
  11. Wow. Great sacks. Give me hope for tomorrow on beaver.
  12. That ranger is just fine. Well made boats. That trolling motor is about $800 new. Plus you have depth finder. Make sure and check compression on the motor. Not sure the psi on a motor that size but prolly needs to be 100 or higher. Make sure all are within 5 psi of each other. If so that would be a great first boat. In my opinion.
  13. That would only make sense F-n-F. Which I don't have much of sometimes.
  14. U guys ever palomared an A-rig? You gotta get it around all those swim baits. It can be comical.
  15. The braid and flouro combo has three advantages in my opinion. Most importantly the sensitivity is better. Secondly the braid lasts for a very long time. Lastly it will save you money. A spool of flouro will last you a long time when you are using 6-8 ft at a time.
  16. I like braid for the main line and a fluorocarbon leader.
  17. I can gaurantee u they can't see all the fine details on those things anyway. I bet a solid color that is craw like would be just as affective. Action is why the fish eat em. But those boys sure make em pretty.
  18. Waste of time right now?
  19. Any one catching them on one? Do you guys use bobber stops to adjust height? Pretty unfamiliar with this technique.
  20. Great color on that wiggler
  21. I hadn't either. It looks awesome.
  22. You should see his place. You would not believe how small it is. I drove by it several times before I found it. It's a shed beside his house.
  23. No disrespect to anyone but Dwayne Batey is as good as anyone I've ever seen and he he is local. I know Gerald Swindle has used him before.
  24. Crazy. I can buy beat up ones and have custom painted and have less than $25 into one.
