yeah, if there weren't so many pleasure boaters burning up gas ,churnning the water into an ocean next to you where you are fishing instead of staying to open water. but of course its public . not to mention crowded small launch ramps. sorry , had to vent.
looking for the name and phone number of a good striper guide on beaver lake . suggestions appreciated. also looking for reasonable cabins on the north side of the lake.
the big problem i see with the bass are that bass fishermen really do not like them either cause they just throw em back in . but i have to tell you they are not too bad if you roll em in a thin coat of mustard then corn meal. like i do my saltwater fish.
Kwall and i fished stockton this past weekend and ended up with 7 keeper walleye , 1 lmb, 6 bluegill and 2 nice crappie . All were caught on BB and crawler harnesses.nice cooler weather and more to follow
Kwall and myself went on an evening trip with Bob on june 24. Had a really good time . Had a little trouble getting walleye to bite, but did get a good mess of crappie to fry for that evening. Thanks Bob for a fun trip . We ate good . Thanks Bob and God bless.
Try using a 1oz or more bell type lead sinker and just loop it on with a small rubber band then when you get a fish and you reel it up just grab it and break the band . Its cheap and works well
