Had a small 10 boat tournament up in the Niangua on Saturday 4/9 (post front – day 2). Not many fish were weighed in, however there was a 4.15, 5.4, 5.11 and a 7.5 brought to the scales from 4 different boats. All caught on cranks or jigs. Most came from the 5 to 10 foot range. And as always a few good fish, were lost as well. Water had good color and temps were 55-59. We were hoping the crappie would have been up on the bank spawning with the full moon and all but they were pretty slow.
