  1. Beautiful view Bill. Congrats!!!
  2. Now in my mid-late sixties, I've been fishing Table Rock since the seventies. Buddy trips, club trips, family trips. Everyone of them a great time.... until last week. We always stay at a well know resort on the the main Aunts Creek arm and it was our annual trip with 8 close friends and family members. We arrived on Tuesday and caught few keepers during the week battling the falling water conditions and high winds. Went down to the dock on Saturday morning to find a lot of our tackle stolen. 5 out of 8 of our guys had their gear stolen and it was all high quality. It’s so sad that people work so hard to have nice things and some scums of the earth take advantage of good innocent people. Just wanted everyone to know that this is the second time that this resort got hit this year and wished the they would have warned us of the earlier incident when we arrived.
  3. My wife and I were having dinner with another couple outside at Baxter's when Prince's boat went by heading toward the dam. I noticed it because it was catching air and I pointed it out when he started losing control. He backed off and it settled down a bit as he went out of sight. Pretty sad to think they died minutes later.
  4. Shootout Besides going to Captain Ron’s, can anybody recommend the best places to go to watch the Shootout from land?
  5. Sat. morning I was up around Pt 12 and it was 3 ft visibility. Seemed to loose about a foot since last Thursday.
  6. You sure picked a good week to be on the water! Thanks for the report and the great pics Dave!
  7. Had a small 10 boat tournament up in the Niangua on Saturday 4/9 (post front – day 2). Not many fish were weighed in, however there was a 4.15, 5.4, 5.11 and a 7.5 brought to the scales from 4 different boats. All caught on cranks or jigs. Most came from the 5 to 10 foot range. And as always a few good fish, were lost as well. Water had good color and temps were 55-59. We were hoping the crappie would have been up on the bank spawning with the full moon and all but they were pretty slow.
  8. We were fishing the Aunts Creek area for three days last week and we caught about 40 big bulls, mostly males. It was a great trip. Bass in the morniing and evening, Gills in the afternoon. They were in a wind blown pocket protected behind a dock in 9-12ft of water. Caught all on red wiggles on a drop shot rig.
  9. has not set their status
