Like OK said, look at the GoPro. It is spendy but if you just buy it now instead of burning through more cheapies you'll be happy. I love mine, They are easy to use and basically idiot proof. There are a ton of accessories and mounts for them too. -
If you look at schedule strength they nailed it. It's not in our favor, but it's as it should be.

He's not nearly as annoying to fish with. He actually kinda grows on you. They aren't canoes, but Diablo kayaks are arguably the best one man fly fishing oriented vessels out there.

It's ingenious on his part really. But seriously, why would a person patent a topwater fly and then go on about how topwater fly fishing is inferior?

But when you are an all knowing guide, you tell people the opposite of what they should do, in hopes of drumming up business for yourself. I don't know why it took me so long to figure it out. If he makes the learning curve miles longer for the people on OAF trying to learn he will, in theory, get more business. Gotta be the only logical answer.

All I have to say is this: As someone who has listened to Wayne grumble about and cuss trout and as someone who has had the honor of being the man on the sticks with Wayne in the bow of the drift boat on some of the most PRIMO trout water on the NoFo and watching Wayne work his magic targeting and catching smallies while not even acknowledging that there were trout in the same water, your assesment of Wayne's take on and passion for smallmouth vs. trout is dead wrong. Just saying. Carry on.

But on the other hand, casting a rod with a cheap line is like driving a car with a transmission that won't get out of first gear that lacks air conditioning and a radio. It won't cover much distance very fast and isn't that enjoyable to drive. But if you invest some money upfront and and maintain it well you can go long distances and enjoy it for quite a while.

Never stops me. I'm just a fan of guys wearing pants on the river, whether it's short pants or long pants. I don't mind seeing the bottom half of two white legs.
