9LB,I do real well on harnesses , mostly the shorter eyes with an occasional 18 to 23"er throwed in once in a while . I usually quit fishing after the 4th of July , but guess I'll have to come up there and try draging a crank bait a bit

Your odds of catch'in a bigger eye is better on Bull Shoals Lake than Stockton , reason is 18" length limit and a bigger lake -- Stockton for numbers Bull Shoals for size , I love both lakes

With all the hot temps during the day and also all the pleasure craft out on the weekends I was think'in bout fishin for eyes and crappie at night. Was wandering how it's been and some tactics yaw'll use -- I have a green under water light that will reach 25' , hope that will work ??

Sad thing is I just had to learn on my own , and the ones I see out there doing what were talking bout just don't get it -- these things (watercraft) are fast and don't have brakes either , just crazy to get one and not get some kind of training it's just like a land vehicle for crying out loud-- use some sense , sorry I can't leave the boats that race the lakes at night either out , I really would like to know how one can go 50-70mph and see in the dark and have good reaction time ?

Replacing yur' worm harness with a stick bait works good on eyes and those pesky LMB this time of year

Way I see it it's those weekend idiots that don't , know, realize or care about the rules -- most of us that are an the water alot know about safety and are considerate of others!!! Solution : training ,tickets if you show up at a ramp without yur' stuff a ticket issued and yur' sent home , ruin a families 4th real quik, ha' ,ha' However , could save little juniors life ---

Jeb, haven't been to TR in years , can imagine how crazy it has gotten-- I'm really scared about seeing someone getting run over ,people just aren't thinking out there, to buizzy having fun I guess ,and alot only barely know how to back their trailer in the water let alone drive a boat

I fished, pardon me , tried to go fishing on Beaver a few weeks back -- what a mad house!! boats and people running up an down the main lake in the middle of the day , kids being jerked around like rag dolls on pontoon boats jumping wakes produced by all the traffic by those loud ,and I mean LOUD long torpedo style boats with all that blaring music driven by people that don't even realize or care about other boaters -- dangerous stuff out there going on -- that was my experience with a nice relaxing day on Beaver , sad - I left it to them

Sad to hear bout this happening, boats sure are getting bigger, faster, more of them on the water Please everyone think and operate your boat safely.

Yep , just get out , Powerdive has it right -- I have found the trick is getting the lure and/or harness speed and placement of what your trolling with close to the fishes depth as you can , and that takes practice to learn , a journal sure helps .my early days of trout fishing helped me to see this , if I presented my bait at the precise depth the trout were at I got alot more strikes , I could actually watch there reaction to my presentation

I'd say try a bandit at about 15 ta' 20 ft for bass, eyes and crappie -- let us know how ya' do

I'm with all you guys on this one,fishinitup and ranger dave have it right a lack of respect and here is why " the blaring radios" now that tells the story along with those torepeeter boats could run a kid over -- boats don't have brakes !!! Therefore , I fish early and late and let the idiots have it between 10am and 6pm , and it's to hot that time of day anyway

No magic here, I'm an eye fisher and catch a few nice brown bass by accident from time to time , they sure put up a good fight
