    Reports

    Good info , thanks --
  3. I use my Tmotor at .8 to 1.5 on a bait cast reel keeping the line at a 45 degree angle where it enters the water I use whatever weight is needed to do so usually 1 1/2 oz to 2 oz does this
  4. Crabtree off Hwy 32 has a cove that boaters use for that and sites are close by
  5. Wilson , hirein' guides on the lakes I want to fish is best money I've ever spent learning to catch walleyes , 2 I'd recommend -- Bob Bennett and JR Oldham on Stockton -- plus go back thru past posts and duplicate the advice given by others , lots of great people and info on this forum
  6. lmt-- thanks , I don't blame ya' for not getting more detailed than that , just doing my best to suck info from you in fun , lol , I'll be trying that BB and crawler for sure -- in purple ,orange and I've found black with a gold spinner works pretty well on points in 20' trolling .8 to1.5 or so generally this time of year
  7. Aggressor -- I second what WM says and I've fished with Bob and he knows Stockton better than most and is worth the money for anyone who wants to get some pointers on fishing that lake
  8. Imt --- there's a few of us on here still waiting to hear the secrets on how to catching 111 walleyed on Stockton . You really hot some of us wondering from looking at some of the responses on here -- all we got from ya' is pretty vague, lol
  9. Imt thanks , Just wonder if I need to make some changes to what I'm (we) are doing ? Tackle, speed , terrain all those details could help us
  10. Imt, I've fished that lake many, many times and have never done that well -- you caught as many in a day and a half as I do in a season , I could really use some pointers
  11. dandy eyes , thanks for the report
  12. I do the same and it works great
  13. Baa humbug , you all need to lighten up --- yur really upset that those were BASS !!! Besides if what you are saying is true there would be NO fish left in the lake --- the reality is we have great fisheries because of the work of the conservation/ fisheries department and most of us practice good harvest and release and another thing most people couldn't even catch a stringer of great looking BASS like that in a day , lol ---it's really ok to keep some bass for a few meals for crying out loud --- this post has run for a bunch of pages of people complaining about a few BASS , lol
  14. I'm like you MoPanfisher -- they go back in the lake or in my "ice well" ---never have understood why more people don't put their fish on ice immediately they are much better and the cold firms the meat a bit for an easier cleaning
  15. Wow!!!
  16. Don't mean to strike a nerve Jim but wonder if you or any other Bassers would have even give that stringer a second thought if it was ANY other fish
  17. Oops , SOME Bassers upset about keeping some bass
  18. Not pointing fingers Jim -- just responding to a Basser upset about a nice catch of some great eating fish --
  19. This is the reason I stay away from lakes like Beaver once the "summer hatch" arrive -- irks me of how inconsiderate people can be to one another , now someone is dead and people's lives are destroyed by a stupid act of ignorance all in FUN huge , loud boats that run nose high in the water are some of the worst -- I don't want to keep someone from their fun but when there fun affects my fun ---- well you know -- just plain sad it is
  20. Nice catch Rickf and a great point you made to those Tourny Bassers about rippin' those poor ol' spawning bass off beds just so they can be throw'ed in a live well for their own entertainment --- agin great job an your catch and happy eating ?
  21. Ok , thanks I'll give it a try
  22. Thanks for all the help guys , I'll give this a try and post back on my results
  23. Wonder if a green submersible light would work? I got one that I've never used that can go down 25' -- you got me wanting to give it a try on a quiet summer night after all the days boating and sea skeeter activity leaves the lake for the night
  24. Nice mess of crappie and whites - I'd sure like to get a few pointers on night fishing , looks like could be fun on a summer night
