  1. Which series is it? IMX, GL3, etc?
  2. I'm interested in all 3 reels if they are still available. Please email me at jeremy_ray@empirebank.com. Thank you.
  3. You're welcome! Its a lot easier to bust with an extra guy weighing down the front. Its not as hard on a prop as it sounds.....but it doesn't sound pretty.
  4. CrappyKing might have had a trail already busted through the ice for him to follow.
  5. Not a good topic, but I caught 2 rocks (not many would brag about that) on Bull Shoals in the Lead Hill area that had zebra mussels attached to them. I contacted AGFC and they said sightings were becoming more common on Bull Shoals. Just a reminder for us, the signs we see at the area loading ramps warning about the spread of zebra mussels and taking preventative measures with our boats and trailers is unfortunately very real.
  6. I heard that first was 6 @ 23.90. Big bass was over 6 pounds.
  7. Meek's had a fishing tournament yesterday out of Lightfoot. Turn out was 40+ boats.
  8. September and October are generally good months to catch a muskie while bass fishing in my experience. I've caught a few on everything from flipping a jig to throwing a rooster tail for whites.
  9. A great group of talented night fishermen to compete against.
  10. There's a decent ramp at the Hwy 39 bridge on up Son's Creek. You won't have to worry about the wind or boat traffic up the creek that far.
  11. Call Scott at Marine Repair Center 833-9191. The 192 and 200 hz are not the same. What color connector is your transducer?
  12. That is a P-I-G Hawg and a fantastic summer fish. Thanks for sharing the pic.
  13. Bill, You have a voice mail on your cell phone regarding the Chronarchs. I'll take all 8 if they are still available. Jeremy
  14. I own a 1548 that has been on a lot of trips since 2004 and I have no complaints about the boat. Mine seems to be put together well and I always liked the fact that if there was a problem, it was made an hour drive away.
  15. City Utilities owns the lake and the Department of Conservation has added several brush piles in recent years. While the lake is void of standing timber it is full of submerged grass, mostly coontail moss that grows surprisingly deep. Please let us know what you find out.
  16. Maybe on Springfield Lake in Springfield, IL. There have not been any sanctioned night tournaments at Lake Springfield in Springfield, MO.
  17. Nope, the guy in the water had the same waterproof suit the fireman had on. Pretty neat equipment and I can appreciate them practicing in a "real world" environment. I don't think I could crawl out on thin ice with the best of equipment knowing that I'm going to fall through.
  18. Its 70-74 degrees most of the winter. If the water is low and the wind blows out of the west it will be warm a long way up the lake.
  19. It was the fire department doing ice rescue training. It was on the news and in the paper the next day.
  20. I prefer the stan sloan blacklights and I usually run two black bulbs to help see the line even further away. I keep one with the white bulb/black bulb combo for certain situations and lakes because it does help you see the trees and bank. These days I prefer PLine CXX hi-vis, but I know a lot of your competition uses Bass Pro Excel in 17 - 25 lb test, its cheap enough to change out after every trip. Good luck in 2009!
  21. I think I read that you have a 1648 or 1652 Grizzly. I am running a 1548 G3 with a 25 hp Yamaha 4 stroke and in my opinion you will at least need that size of a motor to run around much and get up the current on Taneycomo. A two stroke motor will be lighter and seem to have a little more zip.
  22. Four strokes are great but heavy if you want to take off and on. My 6hp Yamaha four stroke weighs 80+ pounds and my 25hp Yamaha four stroke weighs 150+ pounds. Great motors and very easy on fuel.
  23. Thanks for the report. I'm absolutely sure the snake you were being warned about was a cottonmouth.....not just a normal cottonmouth either, but a HUGE cottonmouth. Ever noticed that's the only type of snake that lives within 3 miles of any form of water? Maybe it bit you and caused the flu?
  24. You can bring in a big sack and still donate your entry fee against that group. Those boys are the most amazing group of night fisherman around. I miss getting the opportunity to donate sleep and money to them! Great picture and a great accomplishment!
