  2. Water is very low, clear and cold...
  3. I live in the area and there is nothing going on today...I'd wait till next week...
  4. Went down today...nothing...and that water is COLD...warm rain and 10 days of "normal" weather should get them going...
  5. I'll probably give it a try tomorrow...near Hwy. 215 bridge...should be a Walleye or 2 in there...
  6. ...at least 2 weeks before much happening Id guess...
  7. I stopped at Taylor Bridge this evening...no action and water is low...I'll probably go again Monday...
  8. Walleye go further up Sac River than most people think...I've caught them above BB Hwy. Many years ago I caught one just below Hwy. 13. Even caught a Northern Pike there...but that was long ago...
  9. I live a few miles from the Hwy 215 bridge that crosses the Sac River...I'm thinking if this weather holds, by Feb. 24 or so it should start...that's when I'll start going almost every morning...weather permitting...

  17. found someones retirement watch in the lake...located him and returned it...still running...of course a Timex...it took a licking and kept on ticking...
  18. ...Small mountain streams, I use a 6' rod...great and productive on Brookies...
  19. Just returned from a trip to California...didn't do much fishing, but of course a little. River and small stream fishing was mostly closed for the season, so fished the lakes. Trout were up fairly shallow where the river flows in and the bass were just further down the lake. Cant wait to return in April when the main fishing seasons open. Very dry out that way. Very little snow so far. We were up to 6000' and there was patchy snow. Beautiful area.
