    Well, my Father-in-Law handmade his first ever flyrod for my 4 year old daughter, Katelynn. Of course she wanted it to be pink and purple, lol. We had to put the Flygirl Damselfly purple reel on it, lol. We took the new rod out for the first time on Sunday and caught alot of nice fish with it. My good friend Chris, whom i was in the military with, met us down there. We had not seen each other since 1995. We fly fished in Montana while we were at Malmstom Air Force Base, that is him upstream from us. Thanks for the pictures

    We caught most of the fish on a number 12 Big Red Ruby, with a cerise San Juan Dropper. Today we hammered them again, with Red Tunghead Midge, and after the sun came out, we switched to the Primrose and Pearl Midge in an 18 with a #12 Grey Scud dropper and hammered them, until the water kicked on at noon. Had a boat from Lilleys on Friday and that was good too.

    Well the Montana Wolf Pack is back together!!! We are slaying the trout,, although some challenging water conditions, That was a nice 21 incher you drug in today on the Cherise San Juan dropper

    Booked a jon boat for us Louisiana Flyman!!! Got a 20 footer from lilleys for June trip. I am a wading man, but will do whatever it takes to slay the bow's. You get to eat any of that duck gravy today. Sounds like we might get to see a good show on saturday at the pool, LOL!!!

    Let me rephrase that. With no flood gates on, but 4 generators could I belly boat it. I was gonna have someone pick me up near the landing

    how come no one ever uses belly boats at taney??? too much current for them???? what about those little inflatable pontooons they sell to use fly fishing????

    ok guys. i was going come down sometime and camp at Table rock state park, while i fish at taneycomo. It was gonna be next weekend, but due to flood, it will be in the future. i gotta drive my little car, because it gets good gas mileage. My question is what about fire wood??? Can i have a fire at state park and where can i get some firewood to burn while im camping????
