  9. There is more BS in fly fishing than a Kansas feed lot ~ Lefty Kreh I have been a PMS'er since the day Leonard 'snuck' me one in the parking lot at outlet 2 probably 3 years ago. Dano

  18. As always its a pleasure seeing all the folks who are there...seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Steve and Bob always do the biscuits and gravy and the hot dog lunch up mighty fine. Thanks again to them both for hosting us. Good to see KC, Chief, Flysmallie, Buzz, Kevin, T Beeson, Ducky and Ms. Doty, Don, and my old friend Bill Anderson who I have not seen in over 25 years. He and I were colleagues when we both lived in Memphis and he now is in Monette, Mo. I am sure there are some of the new faces I didn't get to say hello to but hope everyone puts this event on their calendar for next year. I managed to catch a few dinks, and practice what I do best, long distance releases... And as always I visited more than I fished. Thanks to you all for making this a meaningful event. Dano
  19. Sad Bill...I think most people know the rules....I think they just don't care. Would agents have even showed up if anyone had called? Interesting post. Thanks Dano
  20. Eric, here is the easy way out. Lets say you picked the TFO Pro. If I recall correctly you can purchase that rod as a combo. You get a 9ft, 5wt TFO rod, TFO reel and line all matched to the rod. The price is usually better also when bought this way. Dano
  21. Yikes....
  22. Great report as always Mike. Thanks for updating. Dano
  23. Eric I think your best bang for the buck is the TFO like trout fanatic said. The lower end in price models are excellent starter rods. I would opt for the 9ft. 5wt for trout and the 9ft 7wt for any bass, carp and other warm water species you would encounter around these parts. Dano
