  2. Congrats Leonard. Good luck with it. Dano
  3. Good point FW. Of all the things that float down any stream I am more worried and concerned about plastic water bottles, beer cans, plastic worm bags and any sundry items that take eons to disintegrate. I would say a cigarette butt and its remains are gone long before the other items I mentioned. Now that is not to say it should happen, and people should be better stewards of the rivers and lakes by putting their trash in the proper place. There are plenty of pockets on a fishing vest to store your garbage. Dano
  4. I bet your right.

  6. Yes sir that is one nasty looking storm. By the way is there a rain date for the air show? Dano

  8. Up to 5 inches of rain forecast for the So Mo, and No Ar region through Monday. Goodbye wading opportunities. I hope the lakes are in position to house all of the added water. Dano

  15. Al said "You approach the pool from below over a steep, boulder-studded rapid that drops a good 3 feet in 20 yards or so. It lays beneath a 70 foot high cliff, water-streaked and stained dark gray. Big boulders clutter the pool on an otherwise bedrock bottom, and it is smooth water that appears deep, though it's only about 3, maybe 4 feet at the deepest. The trees arch over the water opposite the bluff, and blooming dogwoods line the top of the cliff. It's achingly beautiful." Great descriptors, I hope you put it to canvas. Dano
  16. Technically yes. The blank and components would be less expensive. More costly guides, reel seats and corks might bring the price up to nearly retail and exotic wood reel seats and A grade corks could even put the price over retail. Dano
  17. Very nice as always...Dano
  18. Yep, good stuff Jeremy. A very good reason to carry light olive soft hackles in the box. Dano

  20. A quick story. My late father had slipped discs and pain for years. He finally went to an md and the md scheduled surgery the next day. My father was afraid of the knife and just didn't go for the surgery. He went to a chiro the same day, the chiro prescribed a series of simple exercises he did while laying on his back on the floor. In a short time he was pain free. Now with that being said I have never gone to a chiro despite having degenerative disc disease and osteoarthritis. I was having some upper back issues and the md sent me to PT. Didn't work. I am considering a chiro when I have the next flair up. Dano
  21. Great to see your reports again Mike. Always look forward to them. Dano
  22. There is a chiro doc on the forum, maybe he will respond in. Interested to know this stuff myself. Dano
  23. Same here Ronnie. Dano
