I'm so new to smallmouth, I have all of two trips under my belt. However, I took this advice for power grubs and had good luck. If you are doing any small water fishing, I had great luck with a pearl metal flake tub jig.

I was going to try Light Cahill Dries for the first time. I don't have a ginger/cream hackle. Can one successfully use dun or grizzle?

Long story, short... a vendor sent me the Korkers Chorme by mistake. I love them. There is no reason to believe the $100.00 version wouldn't work just as well. But...I do like the wire lacing system.

What do you use for the wings on your Blue Wing Olives? I'm learning to tie them. I've tried CDC puffs and turkey flats, but I don't think they look right.

I think you bring in more tourism money if the browns are allowed to get BIG as possible. No limit for me.
