If I may... instead of tying in a colored line take two or three or four small pieces and... take a piece and lay it parallel to the main line; then tie a double surgeons knot; then trim the tag ends to the length you want, but you can still see them. This way you can still see the line, the main line is still fully intact, and you can just cut the tags off when you don't want them anymore. Note... this also works very well for a dropper, just make sure yo use the tag going down line and cut the tag going up line.

March 11 Tri-Lakes Fly Fishing Expo—Clinton, MO Orvis reported this in their winter circuit schedule. Anyone been to this before. It seems like a weird location and I was wondering if it is worth my gas money to drive from St. Louis.

As someone who worked in government, I'm going to take the high road here and devil's advocate here: fishinwrench - my best guess is the meeting is legally required and must be held if it is or not. Much like voting, no future complaining if you don't go to the meeting. Gavin - Who knows, but I bet they do no maintenance is cheaper. However, maintenance cost money and money is controlled by the your government representatives. I bet they know, but just don't care. Also... sometime old infrastructure replacement is cheaper if the old infrastructure doesn't meet current engineering or safety standards. Plus... didn't this get damaged by a flood (100% could be wrong here)?

Please tie ten... that will allow folks to join later if they want. Learned this lesson from a couple of past swaps. I'll share extras randomly.

Anyone fish white woolly buggers for trout? Do you follow the rule of bright day, white fly? I have a pattern out of a book. It is a standard white woolly, but it has an ostrich herl back like a crackleback. I tied one up. Looks fishy. I'm new to the streamer game so a bunch of new guys questions. I'm starting to have better then average luck.
