  1. Agreed Bo, on the fish laying smack on the bottom.
  2. Prayers Bo. My father in Law is enduring the same situation but it's with his younger brother.
  3. Started at 12 fished til 515pm. Had our 1st fish in the boat 15 minutes of being out. Solid 3 lber. Hit another bank and caught a 14inch largemouth. After that should have went home. Rk caught em. Threw a jerkbait alot and didn't get a bite. Didn't throw the A-rigs today. Champ would be proud of me. Wt:42.3-43. Saw a few small threadfins floating and twitching off the banks that I fished not many but a few here and there.
  4. Launched this morning at a balmy 18 degrees and the boat was frozen to the trailer it was entertaining for a few minutes.
  5. Met Fishrman at the ramp today and wasn't sure what to expect since he went the day before and had 4 bites boating just 1. Here was the total: spoon-3 fish 50-60ft, jig 3-20-25ft, crankbait- lost count after 20 8-12ft. Champ will love this: A-RIG: 1 but had 3 other bumps. Had 4solid keepers and a few that probably measured but didn't measure. Fishrman caught the biggest at 3lbs. All spots and largemouth. Wt:46-47

  7. Put in just after 7 and fished from the mouth of the river up to the blue hole. Caught a bunch of 10-13 inch kentckies lost count after 30+. Only had 4 keepers but one was big. Beautiful day with my buddy again who is starting to become a hand crankin. Happy Holidays everyone.
  8. Wt: 50-49. Lots of small fish mixed with some decent ones. Largemouth and spots. Handful of keepers. Won't complain for a 3 hour tour. Rk caught them all. Had my favorite fishing partner along to help. Gonna go tomorrow ahead of a front to see what happens.
  9. My fault on the A-RIG fish!! Champ told me so!! I am SORRY. I will go back to my corner.
  10. My dad talks about his best year of fishing Table Rock was in 1995 or 1996. Been fishing the area since the early 80's. He stated in the month of May of 95 or 96 the year before the fish kill for sure he caught over 100 fish that were 7lbs. That blows my mind because I have yet to catch a 7lber on Table Rock.
  11. They are still biting topwaters if you put it in the right places: ex: big black rock. It was a dominant pattern in the Team Championship on Norfork this week. In years past I have caught nice topwater fish when the water temps are colder than this. Its all a reaction bite! Better have sharp sharp hooks!
  12. Fished the same Derby, humbling is all I can say for the day. Had enough keeper bites to have double digits for weight but didn't get them in the boat. Mix of crankbait/arig. Next time out the fish better be alert cause I will be mad at them! Happy Holidays!
  13. Awesome Job!
  14. With the expected cold cold front by the end of next week it should push some fish shallow but you will wear out your trolling motor in order to cover enough good water. Hopefully there is enough wind you should be fine throwing wiggle warts, deep little n's, or Rock crawlers on gravel/ mixed with chunck rock. Good luck.
  15. Several bags in the mid to upper teens caught today for our club Tournament. 18.85 won. 6 lber was big fish. Plopper, Cranks, and blades all produced. I had just under 13 lbs. Caught 14 keepers, mixed bag. Heard that Table Rock is starting to bust loose as well. Getcha Some late fall Feedbag action at a lake near you. Wt: 59-58.
  16. I will post a report Saturday fishing a club Tournament on Bull lots of wind forecasted. I will be chunking and winding cranks, blades, and jerkbaits.
  17. The man the myth the legend. Bo James!!
  18. Diddo on the gel.
  19. Get the cranks and blades ready they will bite until the high pressure sets in!
  20. Not too old 31years old. I'm wise beyond my years had some good mentors that fish this lake. Add, on the water experience and God given ability. Its a scary combination when it all comes together.
  21. Old plug thats what I do. I can't give away all of the secrets (wait their isn't any) but it involves multiple top waters during the warm season. Thats my strong suit. After the water cools down its a spinnerbait 15lb, wart, rock crawler, jerkbait 8-10lb. I might throw a jig every once in a while .
  22. I target places alot of fisherman don't dare to throw. I used to use 20-25lb flouro carbon but my hookup ratio went up using braid. I'm not a finesse guy even though it has its place on this pond.
  23. It's all a hoax!!!!.
