I can't find a used Shawnee, and simply can't afford a new one at this time.
Thinking about building one out of marine plywood and cypress lumber, that I have plenty of.
A 48" wide x 16' boat would be perfect in the milder rivers that I fish. Add a set of oar locks and wooden oars to guide it in moving water and go fishing. Plenty of dry storage and an ice chest would be nice too.
It wouldn't be fiberglass, but I'm getting old and it probably would outlast me anyway.
Ideas?
