  1. Trust me ... you guys did just fine! I think they are talking about the other 2 guys that was above us that kept their red lights on.. and the other 2/3 guys that was standing right there in the outlet.... you guys kept your light off about 95% of the time.. other then unhooking fish..a few equipment troubles (line wrapping around the rod tip).. and moving just a little (not tripping over rocks).. you guys did GREAT!
  2. Nice,... is that the fly still in its mouth?
  3. I may be ugly.. and I'll even admit it! But you still smell like a greasy chili dog fart (I thought you washed that out once before!) ** Hey Matt.. Ive got spare lights! get on over here..
  4. SWEET!!!
  5. caught 6 fish on the Olive/purple Hibernators... here is a few mug shot Thanks Dave for snapping the pictures enjoyed chatting with you guys again
  6. Fixed ... Thanks!
  7. Sweet honey! very nice Bman....
  8. Last night was a little strange.. Almost as if it was a lesser of 2 evils.... started up or the flat tossing a brown and purple Hibernator... caught 5 fish and then ****the first evil... 3 horns blow...*** after about 45 minutes of nothing went down toward outlet 2.. *** my second .. had no glow sticks *** with my red light on I tried to see the float.. If I got the right angle with the light and the float.. I was able to see the float and keep the light off the water.. caught 3 on the roo bug and sow bug...... This one was caught off the flats.. this one is from outlet 2.... And OH YEAH.. It WAS A BLAST!! this one wanted to fight **** I really like that Roo Bug, cant argue with this badboy.. he liked it too!
  9. WARNING!! Do not trust the charts.. 2 nights in a row they have been wrong... Started of about 9pm with 2 units running.. so I started in outlet 2 drift Midges/ sowbugs and roo bugs.. fishing was good.... I guess you could say it was a lot better then this time last year..LOL water shut down around mid-night.. *** CAUTION** Night fishers and high water fishers... Outlet 1 has caved it again.. the upper side is really really soft, and is giving away .. WATCH YOU STEP!
  10. Thursday was the day to tromp through the water.. started at outlet 1 and walked all the way down to the rocking chair... the fish are everywhere.. probably caught close to a dozen on a big sex dungeon went home and tied up a few sculpins and back out again to.. the fish were all over them.. Had a blast.. caught maybe 30+ Night fishing is getting good also
  11. Id agree with that.. But personally.. I use 12-16 midges and scuds..(I hardly ever use 18s or small)... Id say with the rains .. SJ worms would probably the fly of choice this weekend... or maybe (I know it early) egg and glo balls... but I bet Hoppers could see some action as well
  12. Upper taney is still looking good... I'll even bring some "special coffee"... cause I dont drink beer (very often)... just called taneys # still 0 units running... the rock is at.... 915.0 so unless we get 2 foot of run off tonight water should be off for the weekend... oh yeah... low temp are suppose to be it the low to mid 60's at night (hint hint)..
  13. Hey Bud... Im not the best speller in the world.... and I sure cant type worth a crap... But you mis-spelled a word in there..... and did no one else see that?
  14. NICE!!!! I guess next is tatoos and nipple piercing Now all you have to do is watch your back cast... you have the tree... the brush... and now you hair to watch out for...
  15. I think it would have to hit land at a cat 4 to get this far up.. the past 3 that has made it was. I watched the cat 3 hit the land and get almost (if not just pass) Little Rock... this what I really watch for.. we my get some rain... Bottom line is... unless we get about 12-18 inches of rain by Sept 20th up to maybe first week in Oct....*** if the ground is saturated.. 1 inch of rain = 1 foot rise one Tablerock*** Its but a fairly dry summer.. so it will take a lot of rain to get us wet enough for to raise almost 10-15 feet for the gates to be opened... *** And if they do.. I guess we will have to chase smallies and walleyes again. Man that could suck.... NOT!! ***** We are look for a AWESOME run! Leonard
  16. I may be weird and a little strange.... BUT I really dont think I want a guy peeking into my "FLY BOX" But here is the fly! http://ozarkanglers.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=472

  19. dont count your chickens before they hatch... Im still not that worried (YET!) we are looking at about 10 to 15inches of rain.... but then agian with these heavy downpours then maybe... If The Rock hits 920 up to 925 that where we should worry
  20. Good to see you guys on.... And if I still lived over there... I would probably right there with you all!
  21. Ive been there...
  22. Why did you have to go and say that??? Next thing your gonna tell everyone ..that there is less people out when the water is on... Now we wont be able to fish the full moon and high water... because of the crowd... THANKS MAN! LOL... Leonard

  24. hold on to your shorts BOYS... I just dropped off 10 dozen roo bugs (scuds) this morning at Phils.... When I got home I started setting up for my newest fly... A modified version of the PMS..... Called "Heavy Daze" For some silly reason my wife really hates that name.... this week in the vise... More roo bugs and midges for night fishing (10's and 12's) Pine squirrels, Hibernators, and PMS's (maybe even a few PMS jigs for high water) also my newest sculpin called the "mid-night munchie" and whatever else I can think of......
