Hey phil... I heard about a hour (or so) ago.. A 4th gate has been open... can you confirm this? Laker. Some of those fish probably came from the lower lake.. I really think a few came over.. there was way to many of them not to have came over.. Back when they had all 10 gates open wide... we were catching quit a lot of fish that had a spots where their scales had been removed (almost as if they had "rubbed up against something").... Last fall when the gates were open just a little... they was very few "ODD" fish caught.. (I believe it was 6in that the gates were open...right) again.. I agree some came up from the lower lake... but I also think a lot came over..

If they DO NOT reproduce in Taney .. (even though nobody brags about them).. How many trout do we catch in the 5-8 in range.... very few and far between but they are there They release a stock trout at about 10-12 in.... right???

Met a Ray and his son in the parking lot last night.. Caught a few with them and got probably one of the best pictures so far this year.. Rays 9yr son NAILED this beauty!! Great way to start the night! Black and purple hibernator caught quit a few Olive and purple same thing.. Brown and purple got a couple too.. and the ol'faithful "unweighted" pine squirrel got a piece of the action as well moved over to south side and started caught some nice fish on the PMS Great night.. Also heard from a couple of other guy.. Stickbaits and (the PMS) jigs were working nicely in the low water

Sculpins, in a tan or chart. griffin gnats, soft hackles, crackle backs or midges... (if the water is off or 1 unit) other then that,... scuds and sj worms

Cad.. first questions... where were you fishing and during what times? I weight the (size 8) hibs with a little bead.. thats it.. the key last night seem to be 4-6 2in quick strips.. and let it set for a couple of seconds and then as you started the strip again thats where I got my hits. Also I focused on the flats... caught most all my fish there.. did wonder down to around the big hole.. not much happening the so I went back to the flat Leonard

Black / purple... and Olive / purple seemed to be the colors of the night B/P started off GREAT with the cloud cover and the the sky cleared up and it was on with the olive.. but after about a hour or so in was back to the black.. met the ROCKFISH last night.... again..
