Wow, interesting. Never really bass fished,just after crappie. BEEN ON TRIPS WHERE WE USED TO CATCH SOME REALLY NICE SLABS. Last 5 years lots of small ones.

Ok my turn, What is the diff between someone keeping some Kentuckys or tourn fishermen pounding fish on their decks, they do it all the time. Don't act like they don't. BASS tourn guys do it all the time,EVEN ON TV.And you tourn guys watch them/support them by watching them. Quit fishing TR because because a tourn fisherman cut between me and the bank. Bout ripped his head off. Guess what state he was from.AR. The amount of people on that lake is crazy. That is another reason. I have been on that lake for many years and the sight of waves coming over the deck of my boat doesn't sound like a great day fishing. You guys can fight all u want about this issue. But that lake is not worth it to me anymore. Way overrated. Just my opinion.........

When i troll,it is main lake stuff in 20ft of water. Once in a while ill hit a pocket if it is deep enough. Catch a little bit of everything. #7 Shad raps are my go to. I have the flicker shads just havent given them mucch of a chance. I know i should. Cant break the habit. IM GERMAN.

Just returned home monday am with son. No luck bottom bouncing but didnt spend a ton of time trying. Fished grubs in 10 to 20 ft of water in diff locations. Caught plenty of bass, walleye. crappie, but only a few keeper walleye.(Dont keep bass, they are kind of stinkey). Some really nice crappie. Strange thing, caught walleye in the very back of pockets in 4 ft of water. Lots of them. Only managed a few keepers but it was fun for him on his first trip to Stockton.

L a d land bordered my aunts property near clifty creek. Awesome country. I had no idea but often wondered. Really a neat place. Look up the natural bridge at clifty creek. If you want to visit this place put on the best pair of hiking boots you own.
