I might fish dropper rigs more often with this fly. The only thing I don't get is how to set the indicator up.

I've seen a video on a style fly like that. It was called an indicator PMX. Usually I don't bother with an indicator fly because first it tangles and I usually catch more fish on the dropper. It would be useful during a big hatch where you put an emerger behind the indicator fly.

I have used the Revo SX and it is great. The only thing that I dont like about the SX is that it needs to be broken in. After about 5 trips out with the SX the brake controls felt a bit more loose and controllable. I would recommend the SX but I have not used the rod. Good Luck!

I think it is just a different color of marabou on the sides. Or it could be made from a marker.

Thanks for the reply. What line of the beads did you use? It says on their website the holes on the standard beads were drilled larger to slide over the barb.

I bought an Abu Garcia Revo SX from Bass Pro and don't really know what to think of it. It seems like spool tension is the only way to slow down the reel and the magnetic brakes really don't have much effect even when set to 100% I can only cast about 50 yds. If this helps I was using 15 lb Yo-Zuri Hybrid line with a 3/8 oz spinnerbait.

Have any of you guys tried the Veritas rods? The reviews say it is extremely sensitive but other people said it breaks extremely easily. What are your thoughts and have any of them broken on you?

A few minutes ago I was cleaning out my Pinnacle Vision Slyder and accidentally knocked it off the tackle . A bunch of gears came off and I lost a spring and I was hoping someone would have a link or picture of the schematics as I did not save the box. Thanks!
