I wasn't expecting to see a packed house. Phil sorry I forgot to ask u about the shirts and hats. Ive been out with bob a few times and what he talked about is the real way he fishes. My wife learned a lot about the different seasons and techniques and she excited to give them a try this yr.

Bass Pro might have had their fall 5k marathon and they give boat rides and such as well as have other activites by the boat house but have to launch from 65.
Went out saturday for half the day and all we caught were baby bass on jigs and cranks. Worst day probably ever had. went to alot of new areas since we couldnt get much bite where we normally fish from.
i have a coworker that has been slaying crappie with minnows they are fishing just off the bottom and around some brush just depends on the part they are going to.
A buddy of mines goes to the lake with his boat but keeps the motor raised and takes the fuel tank out of his boat and jsut uses a trolling motor but i have seen others on the lake that use 9 and 15 hp so i dunno.
thanks oneshot i was beginning to wonder if i should even try.
Yea i plan on taking my time if i go since i havent fished a river all this yr. but i might just head to the lake.
i was just wondering how far/long of a trip it was from the bennett access to the barclay access. I am in hopes of making a nice float with lots of fishing.
How low is the river.
Very funny justin and jason,
Nope they dont look to familiar to me, but i will say that on Sunday all we were catching fish on was a red crawdad color crankbait.
Justin that craigslist add brings back bad images that I dont prefer to see again lol
THanks to all that could show and did show up. Especially to Mr. Lilley for driving up and having alot of the food prepared for us as we came ashore from fishing.
My partner and I fished from a canoe and that was fun. He is used to fishing from a canoe down in florida where he is from.
All we caught were 3 short bass, No crappie, and the 1 keeper walleye that jumped ship when we were trying to get him in the cooler for keeps. It was a hot one but did have nice breeze. Not a whole lot of people out on the water or even in the swim area.
Very nice day to have the sail boats out.
