Yea I went out there today from about 11 to 6 and only could get 5 but the biggest one was almost 17" but this what I'm having for dinner

Check on the Facebook page for the show me kayak association it has a list of all the tourneys in Missouri for the south division and the fees for the tourneys aren't to bad and great way to meet like minded kayak anglers and this coming weekend I'm doing the cam trout tournament out of Lily's this weekend which is kind of like a kayak cpr tourney but I digress check out the show me kayak association Facebook page it has the entire list of the tourneys for the year

Very true Ryan it's alway longer for me dragging a cooler on the way back but went today and wow the flood sure has changed the landscape down there at the shoal

I say a good fifteen minutes but it depends on how much you stop to fish along the way

Trout ringer you should come out to the bass tourney this year

Me and my fishing buddy did that float last year with his wife and made it a three day float and yes there is much better fishing down from hootentown

Yea me and my fishing buddies stayed in the upper part for most out trip and had a blast with biggest brown being 17¾"on a solid white rooster ⅛oz with silver blade the white bite is still on

On Friday I Went out kinda late start round 11 and paddled up from Cooper's to right up from the first bend up from Lily's and was throwing a white body pink head 1/16 around wood structure all across and down to the mouth of Cooper's and caught enough to satisfy the needs for the day and Saturday me and my fishing buddy took the Jon boat out and got back up in behind the island post all the debris and started throwing rooster tail's ⅛oz and 1/16 oz my fishing buddy and I was throwing solid white and silver and caught some beautiful colored bored and a 17¾" brown and stayed back there till like 1 after lunch then got back out and floated down to the cut back across from fall Creek and went up in there throwing the same rooster tails and hooked another brown around 16" and also when we firestarter out we pushed up a little and my buddy caught a huge bluegill but any way that was our trip and my weekend of fishing god bless the weather we have had this weekend couldn't have asked for a better weekend of fishing

Everyone is right on throwing a confidence lure something you have caught fish with before that's about the best advice I can give

Had a great day on the lake went to Phil's place today with my fishing buddy and rented one of the Shawnee's and we motored up to lookout and drifted down to fall Creek couple of times caught a few nice bows round 14 and a real nice brown that phill let us get a good pic of this beauty they were hitting on an 1/8 oz all white feather jig and my fishing buddy was at one point throwing a rooster tail and got a bump but they were just biting at the feather but ask in all a great day on the water no doubt

I know a little tempted huge capacity for storage or gear electronics etc but don't get me wrong there are other choices

Yep I'll be there with some southern style sweet tea but what time are we all meeting up

No I didn't see that and if so is it still going to be round the same time in the morning
