  1. Tell my wallet for me please? Otherwise I'd be all over that Winston 6 wt.
  2. And make that three over now, and 9 in a row! Plus in our Mets series we don't face Harvey.
  3. I think elite is a stretch for Luck. Yes he threw for more yards than any rook has, and yes he was good in the fourth, but look at those turnover numbers. It's hard for me to consider someone elite when they give the ball away that many times.
  4. Gray scud with a blue wire rib gets it dine for me, typically know a 14
  5. If you had only posted this two days ago....
  6. Yep, felt is allowed. I'd still go with the Patagonia aluminum bars.
  7. Yep, felt is allowed. I'd still go with the Patagonia aluminum bars.
  8. I believe felt is also illegal there. Go with a good studded boot. If you are really nervous look into the patagonia aluminum bars.
  9. I just don't see how they don't win in Jax. Let's face it, the chiefs O line last year was not one of the main problems, and they are nearly all coming back. Albert is in a contract year and should be looking to prove something. Jeff Allen has competition at LG and Asamoah is a pro bowl caliber RT. Once Fisher gets his blitz pickups down he SHOULD be a stud. Put JC or Dex in space and they can run for days. Unfortunately for us, we don't get Denver when Von is out, but oh well. Hopefully Dumervil has a hayday against Manning. I think Denver overpaid for Clady, and they are on like their fourth string center. It's funny how Denver fans point out how "elite" Clady is and only gave up one sack... It was to Hali, who gets held EVERY FREAKING PLAY IMAGINABLE. Denver 11-5 KC 10-6 SD 5-11 Oakland 3-13 If Indy can go from a two win team to a ten win team, with less talent than this squad has, we can too.
  10. Oh, doubtful. I think Phyllis is past his prime, or his deficiencies were masked by a then significantly healthier Antonio gates.
  11. 10-6 book it. The d has been sharp in training camp and smith is starting to gel with his receivers. Our te depth is just silly, the one possible cut may make the team just so we don't have to put him on ps squad where another team could grab him (Demetrius Harris, a former b ball player, sound familiar?) We have actual real competition at wr and a lot of smaller names are really making a name for them selves like Richardson, Hemingway, and Wylie. Dex has also been good and been connecting DEEP with smith more than once.
  12. It will be tough. Catching Detroit at seven back but if they continue to just come out ahead in their series's they could do it.
  13. I don't know that starting pitching is really what they need. I think if they were able to get some serious offensive production out of someone at 2nd they would have a better chance. If Duffy or Paulino can lock the fifth starting spot down I think they would have an even better chance. They need to keep putting up runs like they have been as well too.
  14. I don't know about that. Sure the individuals in your story were going onto private property and causing damage, but did the outfitter put them there. It was the floaters personal choice to trespass, the outfitter did not make them. And I don't think the family could demand money for the use of the Gravel bar. I think we have established that gravel bars are essentially public property, I think that is plain and simple. I can't set up a toll booth along the street in my public neighborhood and force people to pay to drive along the street in front of my house.
  15. He had a gun, they had a rock. Do you really think that he felt like his life was threatened. Because I don't. For all we know the deceased might not have been even reaching for the gun if he was still 4-5 feet away. All he could have been doing was putting his hand up to convey a message of "Stop man, we get it, just give us a few minutes." I understand that floaters need to be more respectful and responsible, but honestly, every bit of blame lies with the shooter and no one else. He made the final decision the pull the trigger and take another human's life. Plain and simple.
  16. Those are flat CLEAN. So your mostly using canned spray paint, and then touching up with a brush and dowel before hitting it with epoxy?
  17. a #8 classic muddler minnow is hard to beat as well. Especially once it has a few fish worth of mojo soaked into it.
  18. When I'm fishing for bluegill I don't fish ANYTHING smaller than a 12. For the reason just mentioned. They inhale it. It keeps the tiny tiny sinks off that could be hooked with a 16 fly.
  19. Small deceiver and baitfish flies. Something imitating a craw to bounce along the bottom too should pick up fish if smallies are there.
  20. This. All of this. It's not like people don't know What happens on our rivers in the summer. While not always right, if you don't like it. Don't be present for it. Maybe it's just because I fall under the demographic who do a lot of the harm (college age adults), but I place significantly more blame on the shooter. If I were to put myself in the guy who got shot's shoes, I think there is a chance I would have done the same thing he did. Drunk or not. There isn't a whole lot wrong with floating a river and having a few beers. Unfortunately those who are pissthebed drunk do the most damage and give a bad reputation to the rest of us. I don't throw my beer cans on the shore or in the river. I don't yell or make obscene gestures. And I don't take this awesome resource we have for granted.
  21. I don't see any conceivable way how the guy could get let off on "self-defense." If it is like a lot of the stories are saying I think the guy is going to go away for a long time. I'm not optimistic that it will particularly change floating laws unfortunately, there are SOO many landowners across the state would fight this, and out of everyone that uses our rivers I think there would only be a select few that would really voice their stance. Your casual weekend floater is probably not going to know, or fight for stream access laws.
