Vacation, I think it depends on what program you use. I have Picassa, Pentax and windows. If you view the photo using windows photo gallery....there will be a button on the top that says "open." If you click on that then microsoft office picture manager. click on edit and then resize. I think there is a predetermined large or small web button you can click. I always save the picture with the date "April 18" so I have the fish photo labeled with the date. Then click the upload and do your thing. Hope this helps.

I never mind telling anyone how we did or didn't do or where we did it. Fishing is just a passion for me,not a living. I like fishing the AIA, because it is good folk and they are fun to hang with. Still just fun though. We didn't weigh a fish today! We were in Schooners for a bit too. Windy windy. We threw a lot of spinner bait there, but didn't land a fish there. I had both feet on the trolling motor. We did catch a ton of shorties. We caught most of our fish on the stick bait after the wind picked up. We also caught some small mouth on the c-rig with a fish doctor. I think we caught two on the spinner bait near the cows. We spent most of the last two days in around and near the two cows. There wasn't even a breeze when we started the day. Babbler had given me some direction and we tried it yesterday. It was the best day I ever had (did I say thanks yet). Today was still a good day, we just couldn't get the ones over fifteen inches to bite. I saw some fish (looked big) hanging on trees, but they just swam away. Saw some of the OAF brotherhood today. Champ was fishing with Donna. Her picture does not do her justice. I think I saw J.E.and Don, SkeeterP and Nitronick, E.P. (tried to buy a bass off him), Mike and probably more people I am forgetting. Sorry about bugging you when you are working Bill. I was pretty excited about the size of our success and just wanted to pass on the gratitude. I think we might have to schedule a summer lesson soon. I did a bit of guiding on Rainy Lake and know it can be a challenge at times. Hey Vacation.....I always have to change the size of my pics. The picture manager lets me edit them to small or large web posting size and then I upload it. Did I miss anything?

Your boat won't go that slow! It was probably my best day on Table Rock ever! Good thing too after the long week. Did I say thanks for the great advice?

We went out today and followed someone's advice to the letter, sort of. I didn't think the stickbait would work without much wind, but it did. Caught many and would have had a nice bag. I thought we had one over six, but we weighed it fast and put it back in, because there were so many boats around. My partner said it was just over five. Took a photo of one 4.5 pounds. Many thanks to the person who gave me the PM with the perfect advice. If he wants to speak up he can. I hope the fish are in the same spot tomorrow for AIA.
  5. See you in the morning J.E.
  6. Ummmm.....where exactly did we release that bass? Just curious.
  7. Do you know how big it is? Seldom get up that way, but might be worth a trip. Hate to miss a fishing day though!
  8. E.P., I would appreciate the article or post, whichever works better for you. When you use the big charger.....are you unhooking them from the boat? Do you charge both batteries at the same time? Sort of had some puter issues with my motorcycle and charging the battery. Another question....how long do batteries last guides like you and Bill. Most weeks I am only on the water two or three days a week. If I start taking care of them better, mine should last at least as long as your batteries do? Sorry for the twenty (million) questions and thanks again to everyone for sharing knowledge.
  9. Thanks for the help! I had no clue where to go, now we have three avenues. My friend has a battery tester and we are going to check the fluid level. If it needs some we are going to add the distilled water and use the big charger and give it a go. If that doesn't fly I will check out the place on Kearney (it is way closer) and see if they have Pro Guides. I read a number of great reviews about Trojans too. If they don't have it I am heading to Golden Saturday if the fixed batteries don't hold up. This place is a great resource. Thanks again for the great info.
  10. I'm not a guide, but I have only been skunked once since I took the lesson from Babbler three or four years ago. I am not a very good stickbait fisherman and need to work on it. I am glad the guides relate that it is a little tougher fishing at times. Makes me a little less down in the mouth. They also have to deal with some clients who don't fish very often and aren't the best or most accurate casters. I have to drop an apology here if I slandered Table Rock's reputation at all. I meant to relate my challenging time at fishing the stickbait. When the jig comes on.....I will be bragging and posting pictures galore!

Hey Bill, My wife picked up my Shimano reel today (the one you recommended.) Also the one I got into a bit of trouble for purchasing. She cast about a country mile with it. The mg51 is sweeeeeeeet! It might be her reel now though.

Totally understand the quiet part. I have a really good source or two myself. Hope to weigh a fish or two! Hey good luck on Sunday. See you there.
  13. DISCLAIMER: I know there had to be discussions about this in the past and I did a search.....but did not find it. I also know there has to be a better forum to post on, BUT this is the one I get the most info on. I Have always bought the Pro Series trolling batteries. It seems they only last a year. Center City Marine is where I purchased my boat, and usually purchase my batteries there. I think they either are going out of business or went out of business. Shame to see anything bad happen to anyone. I went to Bass Pro and purchased their 185. No matter how much skin I take off mu knuckles...they wont fit. The Pro Series are 8 inches tall and the 185 is 8.75 inches tall. It won't fit in my little Skeeter as the fiberglass wont bend. Reilly's has the same battery BPS has, but about $30.00 cheaper. Still to tall. Any suggestions on a battery that lasts more than a year or where to get one? Wal-Mart was a no go too. Thanks for sharing your time and wisdom.
  14. Did better than yesterday, but no keepers. We caught all of ours at the end of our day on shaky heads. It was still a long hard working type day. We put in at Aunt's Creek and fished toward Campbell Point again. Starting to see some fish jumping in the coves. I think they are getting excited. The Mrs. accompanied me and it was an awesome day overall. I doubt I will be entering the Big Bass Bash at this rate. Bumped into Captain Don and a couple of his clients. Nice boat!
  15. Ron, Thanks for the report. I hope you will be willing to pitch in more reports. I hate posting the old, didn't catch anything report, but hopefully it will help someone eliminate water or techniques. Better yet.....they can tell me what I am doing wrong. I was starting to wonder about my Eakins....they never let me down. I am glad to hear they are still working for someone. Probably see you at Cape Fair tomorrow, but I am fishing the other direction. Be in a white/red Skeeter pulled by a blue Ford with a big Skeeter decal. Hope to see ya.
  16. I talked to four different people who fished today and only one said they caught a fish. They each said they spoke with people and it was a tough day on the water. I know I am just a regular guy, but that makes me feel a bit better. Tied a split shot on for tomorrow already! Thanks Don. I am leaning more toward Cape Fair after speaking with my buds today. It will be a late start as I have to put new trolling batteries in. Is your boat still blue? I saw a big red tank out there today. I will see you Sunday. It should be raining and a better bite...I hope.
  17. Hey Captain Don, I have to apologize to you and all of the guys on the lake today. The terrible stench you all were smelling was me. I caught zero fish! I put in at Aunt's Creek and fished toward Campbell Point. I tried to focus on the stick bait most of the morning, but finally gave up and went to the Eakins jigs. The sunny sky and wind made me try the spinner bait without success. Not much more to add. I am going out tomorrow. I haven't decided if I am going to Cape Fair or putting in at Mill Creek. I did see some dead white bugs on the lake. I am not sure if that had much to do with anything or not. It was still a great day on the lake. Where you putting in at tomorrow?
  18. Entry fee is generally 110.00 for one day or 160.00 for both days. I think they only take cash if you pay the day of tourney. No checks.
  19. In order to hold a tournament on Table Rock, you have to get a regatta permit and say how many boats you intend to have. They have a permit for 100 boats. I think AIA, CPA and Heartland generally lean toward a higher count than they actually have to be on the safe side.
  20. Many thanks. It seems you are always pointing me in the right direction.
  21. I third the motion! I really enjoy AIA. Great fishermen (and ladies) with a whole lot of friendly thrown in. My partner and I are regular folk that just wanted to try the tournament stuff for fun. It is not to make a living or prove we are any better than anyone else. I fished as an AM on another tournament trail and won't ever go back to that. The trail is probably okay, but I would much rather spend the day with my best friend (next to wife and dog) and josh with each other about the fishing. We get to visit with folk before take off and weigh in. Everyone is smiles and open to conversation. It isn't all tournament shirts at AIA. It is a great mix, with the tourney shirt guys willing to throw you some advice at the end of the day. Some will even give you some advice at the take off! Did I mention they have attractive girls working the booth and free coffee in the morning?
  22. I did a google search for a Table Rock wall map for the guest room. I didn't find one.....any ideas?
  23. I enjoy your tourneys! Thanks for the well run friendly tournaments.
