Shell and I went out both days last weekend. Fished Hideaway to Cape. Fish stacked on trees on main lake points in about 27' of water for us. Nothing big, but most on a green squarebill with some on a Ned rig

Great day. Probably 40 catches or more. Mostly shorts in shallow water. Caught them in square bill, paddle tail, Eakins jig and Ned rig.
-
Hey, we were in a silver G3 in same area.
-
Lol. Was fun. Crappie in the trees about 22' . We were bass fishing with paddle tails, but take what TR gives ya.

Traded in the Skeeter for a Papa boat. G3 aluminum Angler V SF. Except for storage, love the boat. More room for grandkids and they don't fall out as easily without a good throw.

Had a great time yesterday. Started a bit after 3 and stopped by 630. Caught over 20. Most on an Eakins 5/16th with a green Yamamoto split tail. A few on the Ned rig. Fish were around the 22'deep mark. Most boats I have seen pulling tubes lately. The night temps this week should alleviate that! Lots more pics, but it said I exceeded max download?

Let me know if you want to play Rivercut, might be able to help out a bit. I mostly play RC and Payne Stewart. Hidden Valley is a fun course that might be worth the trip. You didn't hijack, I asked. I am terrible at golf, but enjoy it...mostly.

Ouch! Would like to play them...someday

Where are you golfing?

Fun day. Fished from 1030 to 3. Caught all in an Eakins jig with a green twin tail. Caught over 20 fish. All on bottom around 22 feet. Boat at Hideaway and with the price of gas, we don't venture to far out. Lake pretty quiet with just one tube being pulled.

Where from in MN?
-
We fished noon-4. Caught one near Piney on a Ned. That's it. Water temp getting close to 52. Wondering if should try live bait? Why do we use artificial instead of live? Thoughts?
-
Chocolate milk until you got past Cape Fair. Even some mud across from Piney.
-
$79. I think. Thought the sign said $69 though
-
Bought Ned and Ned trailers too.

Usually wouldn't go but have a friend from MN visiting and he wanted to. Was pretty well ran. Picked up s Pfleuger reel that was $20 off and a Fenwick HMG that was half price. Picked up a few other things too. Figured I saved well over $80 on stuff was going to buy anyway. Lucked out on the shuttle both ways and had no waiting. Lots of checkout registers, so less time there too. Ended up great time good visit with some vendors and saved some money. Probably wouldn't go on a weekend though.

Took my friend Robert out yesterday. He is the Park Ranger who was shot six times last November. He has very limited use of his hands but is an avid fisherman. Caught around ten little ones. Mostly Ned rig and one on squarebill. They were in 12-18 feet of water. Water temp was between 49 and 52.5. Picture is of the first fish Robert has caught AND reeled in himself since being injured. Great day!

Yeah, not sure where everyone getting their readings or if I'm in the wrong water.
-
Not a success in the catching part. Put in at Aunts Creek and fished to Hideaway. Caught 2 on paddle tail in about 18' of water. Water temp getting close to 48, according to my depth finder. Still a great day.
-
The last two times out, we have been skunked. Yesterday was a gorgeous day to not catch anything though. Had one on shaky head but lost it.
-
Nice. We caught one large mouth on a silver squarebill. Next year, mebbe come hang with y'all
