    Started about a 100 yrds down from the ramp, and worked the cover on the southside. Stopped at the bluff. Then went back up river to the 60 bridge. Hope to be back out wed.

    Went today, and stopped counting after 10. 2 were over 4#, but most were in the 12 to 14" range. Saw a nice smallmouth past the hwy 60 bridge in about 2 ft of water, but could'nt get him to bite. Lots of people out this weekend so I think i'll wait till mid week to go back. Maybe try Fellows.

    Went today aswell, caught 6. Nothing over 2 pounds. Did you have a girl in the front of your boat? Will be going on thursday also. We should meet up

    Did"nt fish much only caught one short on a smoke bandit 100. Had to break in the new motor. Will try again on monday when i have more time to actually fish.

    While I was away at work someone decided to steal my 2005 5 horse merc. motor. It happened on sunday may 6th at around 2 in the morning. They also tryed to get my neghbers 25 horse, but only tore up his cover. Any info or leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Enjoyed reading everyones posts while i was on the road. I cant wait to get back on the water, and start fishing. While i was away someone decided to steal the 5 horse merc. motor off the back of my boat. So i wont be able to go til tomarrow. Have to drive to Branson, to pick up the new one. If anyone has any leads they would be greatly appreciated. I will be at Lake Springfield tomarrow so if you see me say hello. Good fishing, and have a great day!!

    Well after 6 months 3 states, and 4 refinery turnarounds I'm finally home. The only bad news is while I was away somebody decided to steal the motor off my boat. So today i get to go buy a new 5 horse merc. If any one has any info or hears of someone trying to sell a 2005 5 horse motor thats in great condition please contact me. Otherwise i'm glad to be home, and ready to fish. Hope everyone is well, and cant wait to start posting pics.

    McDanial has been good for crappie. 1/32 jig with chartruise trailer, and a couple small split shot weights about 8 in up. Just be carefull of the bottom, lots of snags. good luck!

    Heading back to cali. for work. Hoppe to fish Mission viejo, and castaic. Will be working in Carson near Long Beach at the B.P. refinery. Thanks for all the info and support. Hopefully pics to follow.

    Think i saw you out there. I was fishing the south arm. Caught 1 keeper walleye, and 3 lmb also on top water. Nice fish

    Me too, moved here 4 years ago. Go back once or twice a year for work. Will be in Breck in 2 weeks for a wedding.

    Next time your up there try stagecoach res. Its about 6 miles s.e. of Steamboat springs. Great gold water fishing. The yampa river is off the backside of the dam. Some of the best trout fishing in the state. Many different species including dali varda, cutthroat, and big browns. Glad you had a good trip i was lucky enough to live in Summit, and Routt counties for 6 years. Some of the best times of my life.

    mostly, sometimes walk the bluff on the westside down to the springs. Have'nt been in about a week been going to lake springfield.

    Went today, caught 3 LMB on a fb jig. All on the south end in 10 to 15 feet of water. Missed one in the cove behind the docks on a 13" purple worm. The fish are picky right now.

    Lake springfield has some huge carp! I saw a guy catch one at the spill way early this year, and it had to way atleast 20lb. He caught it on a nightcrawler while fishing for catfish. If you catch one you'll no. They fight very hard.

    Things have slowed down compared to last week. Not getting the numbers like before, but you can still catch fish. Large worms texas rigged still seems to be the go to bait. So if you can handle the heat go out out and try.

    Thanks, I know what you mean about the hp regs. Had to buy a smaller boat so I could fish fellows, and springfield lakes.
