Welcome. My friends and I always want to go out there but we don't have a boat big enough. We do run lines on the upper Miss. Maybe you can show us some secrets of fishing the faster current?

Congrats Eric. The point always says a happy wife is a happy life. Me I say a happy life is no wife. But to each there own. My dad use to hunt and fish way more but then he had 9 kids and now all he does is fish here and there. Me I want to go every single waking second so why should I do that. As I post this from my truck heading out to the deer stand.

How is everyone doing so far? I have shot 6 does and one 9 pointer. All were bow kills but the buck. Shot it with my muzzleloader. I passed him up during gun season hopefully for something bigger.

I fish right off my buddies property and do pretty good. He owns between "Tommys Place" and "dakota ridge" I caught a 18" smallie down by black river campsite on Memorial Day weekend.

Yesterday morning I was fishing a little bit down on 2 doing alright. I'm actually staying at your place with my dad and a couple of his buddys. Did way better today at dark. 15 minutes before day break I caught a 24" rainbow on an off color white scud and an hour after dark I caught a 21" rainbow on a beadheaded grey scud. My dad caught a 22" brown in outlet 2 on a san juan worm.

Nice. What caliber did you get him? I shot 3 does already with my bow. 2 on a management hunt and 1 on the farm.

There were some boats out this morning. Saw lilley come up and a few bass boats two other Jon boats and only 1 drift boat. They seem to come early and died off later in the day.

Today is my Friday! Heading down after I work my 6 hour day and have reservations at lilleys until Friday. Anybody else gonna be down here this week? I have a buddy who lives 20 miles away from Taney if the fish are biting good then I'll will stay till Sunday. Just pretty excited about this trip because it will be the first time I get to fish with my dad in about 4 years.

Anyone wanna meet up I'll be at Taneycomo Tuesday morning threw whenever it gets really crowded or fish stop bitting. So probably Friday or Saturday. + If I hung out with you guys I'll get dung probably for being the youngest.. It happens all the time with motorcycle racing or fishing with other people.

You can wade down river actually pretty far. Like said before it isn't the best fishing but there is basically no crowd. 300 yardsish there is a good hole that is usually good for 3 or 4 fish but that's about it. The fist hole maybe next time you should try stripping in crackle backs fishing up stream.

Welcome. Our duck season starts in November this year when I can't make it the first 3 weekends do to taking a kid out hunting and rifle season!

I have a stainless Taurus 709 Slim with an extra magazine. It was my carry gun until I went to my Springfield xd40. The Taurus is way lighter than my xd and more slim. I'm asking $300 and for forum users I'll throw in a galco inside the pants holster if you want it. I live in St. Louis and only want to sell to MO 21+ old people. What is the # for them down there? That was happening Saturday by outlet 1 also. And also a guy snagging big browns for 2 hours every morning. -
I'm down here now and fishing between the darn on the rebar hole. Outlet 2 was awesome right when they started generating catching 3 browns and countless of rainbows. Before I went to the rebar hole and did good because anyone who walked threw would kick up scuds and fish went into a feeding frenzy. Last night I decided to throw a crank bait and had one that felt to be a good size get off. But now I'm getting ready to go. Caught most my fish on a cadis and tan scud.
