Hog our opinions are certainly different on QB's that's fine. But come one I love my Razorbacks but there is some pretty dam good O-lines coming up. I would certainly put us next year in the top 15 and the year after top 5 and pray to Tusk that we can get good recruiting, No doubt with our style Running Backs will want to come, Tight Ends certainly but I am concerned for us in the Receiving Corp, Brets style is well known for heavy run and that's what he will attract. Our Defense is scary lately but its still lacking a couple high quality safeties. And this has got to be the worse year in the league for kickers I think everyone will be recruiting them more than QB's even. Be a interesting next few years.

My week started off GREAT! I got to go waterfowl hunting with member on this board. That night my wife and I enjoyed a dinner of Cornish Game Hen. Yesterday was not so good, Had to suffer through pictures of certain member on here who found stripers on Beaver and a few friends who found some waterfowl (They were torturing me knowing I was home prepping for the arrival of family) lol. Today is so far so good, great breakfast and even better coffee. I may go chase striper or waterfowl this afternoon. Tomorrow is a day I look forward to all year I am hunting in the morning and then resting in the PM and Friday the family arrives in for Thanksgiving. Yes ours is Friday but thanksgiving is when you can be with them. All in all I would say pretty good week.

He does not show the fear or bad judgements his brother does. Brandon often looks like the proverbial deer in the headlights and how many times have we watched him make bad throws and running LMAO he aint no runner. Austin is much less fearful to run and his passing is much better. Also something I noticed is when he is on the field the O-line seams different, like more determination is in their blood. Brandon I have no faith in, people on a team might say they do but saying and in the heart is two things and I see the heart when Austin is out on the field.

It could be a High Scoring affair if the D-lines don't show up 42 / 35 Arkansas but if the D-lines show up a very low scoring game 17 / 12 Arkansas. I just feel Arkansas wins as there is a lot of pressure on Missouri.

With ZERO generation I can get from the AGFC Ramp at Holiday Island past the 62 bridge by about 1/4 mile (est) in my bass tracker. With generation I have got to Bertrand but its sketchy at times. When I have Canoed or gone with my buddy in his Hyde we have launched at the agfc Ramp just below the dam and drifted to Beaver Town.

Several places to launch a drift boat and from the dam to Houseman access are all fly rod areas. Phil has a real good map on here.

If AA is Ar's QB then the air game and run game get much more interesting and by that I mean good AA is a much better QB than BA. Arkansas D-line must have hired a Vodoo woman because I sure never saw this coming certainly not this year.

So by that standard Florida St should not be even in a Bowl, they sure aint looked great.... Yet Arkansas should be in a Major Bowl as they have by strength of schedule and the way they played all year deserved much more.

here is how I believe College Football Championship Game should be decided. #1. We would have to take the current 128 teams and break them in to 8 conferences. #2. Each conference would have 16 team in it. ( Break the down by region, geography however ) #3. Have two conferences play each other ( no games out of those two conferences ) For you NFL fans that’s 32 Teams same amount as in the NFL. #4. Now Play those two conferences against each other just as they do in the NFL ( the prototype or if you will well established model for football ) #5 Using the NFL model again you play the regular season and a post season just like the NFL and you end up with a champion for those two conferences. #6 Take those 8 champions and play them in a final play-off till there is only two teams remaining. #7 The final two teams play for the National championship and we have a true National champion. That is a total of 23 games still below the average for most other college sports regular season and far below the average when you take in tournament play. The season would start the first weekend of September ( Traditional start date ) and be completed by the second weekend of February. Each year you rotate conferences so they don’t play the same conference each year. Making it more competitive and removing some of the weaker schedule arguments. Just for the record the NFL season including Pre-season ( 4 games ), Regular-season ( 16 games ) and Post-season ( up to 4 games ) then SUPERBOWL for a total of for the Super bowl champion of 25 games.

Al, why shouldn't 10 down be in it? College sports is Business in all respects accept paying the players which may soon be over..... Most athletes leave college much sooner than Football because of draft eligibility age requirements. Its a Sport and business no other way to say it and not have your nose grow. Picking who is simple Top 16 teams based off strength of schedule ( ranked opponents played ) and Win/loss record..... I throw in strength because there are teams that in no way should be in the runnings each years because they play weak opponents or have automatics if they win x-amounts of games.

Kentucky and Tennessee are both weak teams the odds makers like them sure but the teams have both been less than good on almost all Saturday's I didn't buy in to the hype the media was trying to create. But looking back at Arkansas and the strength of opponents all season and taking it in to consideration they could be a top 10 team maybe top 5 if it was based on strength of opponents. Rankings at time of playing Auburn #1 ATM #6 Bama #2 Georgia #10 Miss St #1 LSU #16 Ole Miss #8 Mizz #20 That is more than a little tough Rankings as of today Playoff rankings. THE BCS system did not work.... a Committee will not work..... the ONLY way to ever get to 1 national champion is a Playoff system and its very easily done. But the money will never allow it as its the Old System Boys still in charge... Maybe one day but not for 10 to 15 years at least.

To start let me say this is about Public Lands. I have a spot that is public land but for many years no one hunted it as it was nothing more than a small pothole about 1.5 acres total and had I not seen an ungodly amount of Mallards drop in to it one day prefront I would have blown it off as a jump shoot at best. But post front on a NW Wind or Prefront with the same wind ( 15mph or more ) this area has produced time after time after time the kind of place you can set a watch by. Never found trash on it or shells and no signs of anyone hunting it a dream spot if there can be one on public land. So anyway I took a friend out there and told him before we went to please not share it with anyone else as it is a small area and very dependent on the perfect conditions and pressure would certainly mess it up. H e had been bugging me for years to take him to this spot as he has seen the pics from it. So last year I relented but made him promise me to never go without calling me first or show anyone else. Well a another friend called me the other day that had a first timer with him ( his son 6 years old ) and asked if I knew someplace where he might be able to get him on a couple birds. Knowing the conditions were right I told him where to go and where to set up and how. He got there and found 6 trucks in the parking lot and saw the lights on the spot I told him to go, this is a blind I built out of a willow tree that is perfectly natural you couldn’t ask for better. So he decided to set- up on a pond a little north. By 8am the people were done blasting away and were leaving. He saw who they were and knew the one guy was a friend of mine. He picked up his spread and went to where they were and found all kinds of hulls donut wrappers and Styrofoam coffee cups all fresh. He sent me the pictures, needless to say I was more than a little pissed off. I called my “old friend” and asked him why he didn’t at least call me and his response was “It’s public land and I don’t need to F_____ call you or ask your permission” Now that’s true but it is public and he certainly does not, but here is the question. If a person takes you to a spot and ask you not to hunt it or show or tell others or hunt it without at least calling you first is that even though its public what is your opinion of that person? BTW my other friend and his son picked up the trash and did get a few birds for the boy. The other friend will NEVER hunt with me again and as far as I am concerned will I will never associate with him again. A promise is a promise in my book and if you cannot keep your word I don’t want you as a friend or associate even.
