I was up there on Saturday, I was fishing for Blacks but ended finding some white, There where down near Birch Branch on the flat in about 5 feet of water
Not a lot but I caught around 10 or so and moved on, All on a spinnerbait
I hate to see that several people on here will quit contributing to this forum in fear of people using their knowledge to catch more fish. I know several people personally that hire guide's and visit Fishing store to learn how to catch more fish to catch and release but also some that have used that same knowledge
to keep the fish as well especially kentuckies to eat. There is NO way you can have a open forum or even a closed forum that you can keep people from doing
what they want to do. But Educating people IMO
I put in at 5.30 A.M and fished until 11.00. I have never fished up here before, so it was a different experience for me. Totally different then the main lake areas. Water was stained with about 1 1/2 of visibilty. I fished back in some cove and small river arms. I could only catch some bass on the main points. Ended up with 7 being caught with 3 keepers. All fish came on Jig and a rage craw. Saw alot of other fisherman fishing for crappie and catfish very few were bass fishing.
Great picture and even a better " memories" . I agree and thank you for posting your day and time on the water. it's threads like this that keep other's from posting there time out on the water.
The Fat papa are in, as of Friday
The Rock Crawler are sold out all over the place. I would recommend doing some web surfing and see if can find some that way.
The new location is going to just off of I 44 right next to Arrowhead supply in the Industrial park . They are going to be there around July and yes the entire operation is going to be in the new location
