  1. You would need to check with Tracker Boats to see if they would recommend a Jackplate on that boat. Just raising the motor up the the next set of holes will get you some more RPM's. It is best to run the motor as close to Max Recommended RPM range as possible for best performance. What Pitch Prop do you have a what is your RPM's at when running wide open? Also what is your Water Pressure? You will need a GPS Speed rather then a Speedometer reading because the Speedometer to way off.
  2. I would just call the Environmental Protection Agency and let them handle it.
  3. Welcome to Ozark Anglers Teach! We can always use someone to correct our pour english as most of us distroy the english language.

  9. READ THIS VERY SLOWLY... IT'S PRETTY PROFOUND. Too many people put off something that brings them joy just because they haven't thought about it, don't have it on their schedule, didn't know it was coming or are too rigid to depart from their routine. I got to thinking one day about all those women on the Titanic who passed up dessert at dinner that fateful night in an effort to cut back. From then on, I've tried to be a little more flexible. How many women out there will eat at home because their husband didn't suggest going out to dinner until after something had been thawed? Does the word "refrigeration" mean nothing to you? How often have your kids dropped in to talk and sat in silence while you watched 'Jeopardy' on television? I cannot count the times I called my sister and said, "How about going to lunch in a half hour?" She would gas up and stammer, "I can't. I have clothes on the line. My hair is dirty. I wish I had known yesterday, I had a late breakfast, It looks like rain." And my personal favorite: "It's Monday." She died a few years ago. We never did have lunch together. Because Americans cram so much into their lives, we tend to schedule our headaches.. We live on a sparse diet of promises we make to ourselves when all the conditions are perfect! We'll go back and visit the grandparents when we get Steve toilet-trained. We'll entertain when we replace the living-room carpet We'll go on a second honeymoon when we get two more kids out of college. Life has a way of accelerating as we get older. The days get shorter, and the list of promises to ourselves gets longer. One morning, we awaken, and all we have to show for our lives is a litany of "I'm going to," "I plan on," and "Someday, when things are settled down a bit." When anyone calls my 'seize the moment' friend, she is open to adventure and available for trips. She keeps an open mind on new ideas. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious. You talk with her for five minutes, and you're ready to trade your bad feet for a pair of Roller-blades and skip an elevator for a bungee cord. My lips have not touched ice cream in 10 years. I love ice cream. It's just that I might as well apply it directly to my stomach with a spatula and eliminate the digestive process. The other day, I stopped the car and bought a triple-decker. If my car had hit an iceberg on the way home, I would have died happy. Now...go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to.....not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting? Make sure you read this to the end; you will understand why I sent this to you. Have you ever watched kids playing on a merry go round or listened to the rain lapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight or gazed at the sun into the fading night? Do you run through each day on the fly? When you ask "How are you? " Do you hear the reply? When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? Ever told your child, "We'll do it tomorrow." And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch? Let a good friendship die? Just call to say "Hi"? When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift.... Thrown away.... Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over. It's National Friendship and FAMILY WEEK Show your friends how much you care. Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends. To those I have sent this to... I cherish our friendship and appreciate all you do. "Life may not be the party we hoped for... but while we are here, we might as well dance
  10. I have not seen or read any reviews on the Pentax but I have seen nothing but rave reviews on the Canon. Here is a site that reviews both choices so you can compare them. http://dpreview.com/
  11. Well some prior inhabitat is gonna get a visit from the Police and he better be ready to answer some serious questions.
  12. I am wondering if they sent you back the wrong prop. If it came off that motor with no problem then it should go back on with no problem. It is hard to address such a problem without seeing it first hand. Is the thrust washer all the way down is another question.
  13. Is it the fact that at this time of year the forage is smaller Bill or do the Bass just seem to his the smaller presentations more now?
  14. The fish know when the weather is bad most fisherman stay home so it is pretty safe to eat without the worry of being caught. On nice days they know fisherman will be out so they don't feed. Sounds logical to me anyway. Or was that the heavy winds were blowing the baitfish up and making them easy targets and turning the Bass on.
  15. That is what you like to see plenty of things to keep you busy.
  16. Welcome Trout Fanatic. If you like throwing Flies this is the palce to be. There are any number of people here that can help you perfect your tying and learn some streams to chase your favorite fish.
  17. What could possibly be Sporting about such a Magnificent bird and the Symbal of all we as Americans stand for. Someone with a gun was looking to kill something and that bird setting in the tree became his target. He wasn't hungry and wanted food he was bored and wanted to shoot something.
  18. Welcome to OAF Ric! It is sure going to be different fishing this clear water from what you were used to. You should find some good advise here and good people to boot.
  19. I was out at Indian Point for about the same amount of time and got nothing also. Water was running about 44-45 degrees all over.
  20. Welcome to OAF Back Cast 6! I think you will like it here and find more information then you can digest. Good Fishing!

  22. I just go on Yahoo Yellow Pages and get this stuff reall easy. It is 417-546-5100.
  23. I put in at aboput 8:00am this morning and started looking around the Indian Point area of the lake. I could not find anything the looked like baitfish and fished several points without success. Let it be said that I am still learning how to fish a Lake so I am not very well versed on this stuff. I ended up just North of the Combs Ferry area in a small cove shoreline and finally managed to hook my first Table Rock Smallie. I was happy to say the least. It came on a 4" Crawfish Color worm on a shakehead jig bounced along in about 25' of water. I guess I am no longer a virgin.
  24. I think he designed it himself.
  25. Thats what I told him he should be doing. I don't know if he would build one to sell to someone or not he may.
