  2. Hey Terri if you guys are available during the week I would be be willing to take y'all out in the boat for awhile if you would want to do a little bass or crappie fishing.
  3. Yep it's good stuff we were just there yesterday and I seen they had the Louisiana in the big jugs but I got the big bag of Andy's for a fish fry this Saturday night. I like the Andy's too so got it this time.
  4. If you are talking about the big jug of Louisiana fish fry then it is Alps they have it and the big bags of Andy's fish fry.
  5. Thanks for all the info Wrench . Got the switch boxes yesterday and put them on today, put it on the lake and it ran great.
  6. Thanks a million Fishinwrench I really appreciate all the help. Got 2 new boxes on their way hopefully we will have my friend back on the water by the end of the week.
  7. Got the DVA today checked everything the way the pages you posted said to. Everything checked out good except the green primary wires coming out of the switch boxes they were all anywhere from 0 volts to 60 volts even with wires unhooked from the coils so it's looking like the switch boxes are bad.
  8. Hey thanks that's pretty cool but I found one on eBay for $19 think I will just order it. When it gets here then I can run through all the tests and figure out what we have.
  9. OK thanks I will see about getting a DVA and check it out. Figured I would have to come up with one since I wasn't getting any voltage out of the primary wires on the cylinders that were firing. I really appreciate all the help.
  10. Thanks wrench stator ohms out according to that page voltage also is good on stator while cranking. #1 and 3 are only cylinders firing. Trigger ohms are in spec. and has 5 volts coming in on all trigger wires. But if you check them going to ground you have to put the positive to ground and groung lead on the wire at the switch box. But have no voltage at any of the green wires coming out of the switch box going to the coils.
  11. We have a digital and swing arm multi meters. Yesterday we had 2 cylinders not firing then 1 started firing today have 3 not firing using timing light. I'm a diesel mechanic by trade but don't do a lot of outboard work any help would be appreciated Wrench thanks
  12. I forgot to say we unhooked the rectifier and didn't change anything. The misfiring cylinders are on both switch boxes
  13. Helping a friend with his motor some cylinders are firing some aren't sometimes they will fire then stop. He put a new stator on a year ago it is the black one. Have checked all the coils and wires and they are all good. Going to get a shop manual for it so we can check the stator and trigger. Just thought maybe someone had some ideas .
  14. I love these rods wish I didn't already have so many rods.
  15. Congratulations on your lake home, hope to see you out on the water this fall.
  16. Have to agree with you Jim they are nasty slimy lure stealing critters. Lol
  17. Price reduced to $3500 If interested you can reach me at 660-679-1417 Thanks Scott
  18. I have for sale a 97 EzGo golf cart. The cart looks and runs good just don't use it much any more. It has lift kit, aluminum dish wheels, heavy duty rear springs, flip rear seat/bed,headlights, tail lights, top and off road tires. The engine has about 1 summer on overhaul and has new starter belt and drive belt. I'm at Pomme De Terre lake. Asking $4000 OBO I have pictures I can send but can't get them to load
  19. Alaskageek I enjoyed the short time that we got to visit while you were here. Hopefully have more time this fall. Shoulder should be good enough by October maybe we can do a little fishin when your here.
  20. I haven't been able to go because of shoulder surgery. But friends of mine have been going fishing brush piles and they have been telling me that it has slowed way down since the lake came up last weekend.
  21. As always thanks for the good info MoPanfisher.
  22. I would say your right Sandbc 6 sandwiches is probably more like it. To your question about top water I havent fished for the last 3 weeks do to a shoulder injury but until then and having fished here for the last 40 years I can say top water can be good early in the morning before the sun gets on the water.
  23. I 2nd the 254 good breakfast and awesome hand breaded tenderloin, the jumbo tenderloin will make 4 sandwiches.
  24. Can't fish right now but 10 1/2 inch worm on steeper banks where there is timber has always been good for me in the summer especially after dark. Plus its a lot cooler at night, my favorite time to bass fish in the summer. Like MOPanfisher said early early in the morning can be good on big worms and top water.
