  1. I have for sale a 97 EzGo golf cart. The cart looks and runs good just don't use it much any more. It has lift kit, aluminum dish wheels, heavy duty rear springs, flip rear seat/bed,headlights, tail lights, top and off road tires. The engine has about 1 summer on overhaul and has new starter belt and drive belt. I'm at Pomme De Terre lake. Asking $4000 OBO I have pictures I can send but can't get them to load
  2. Alaskageek I enjoyed the short time that we got to visit while you were here. Hopefully have more time this fall. Shoulder should be good enough by October maybe we can do a little fishin when your here.
  3. I haven't been able to go because of shoulder surgery. But friends of mine have been going fishing brush piles and they have been telling me that it has slowed way down since the lake came up last weekend.
  4. As always thanks for the good info MoPanfisher.
  5. I would say your right Sandbc 6 sandwiches is probably more like it. To your question about top water I havent fished for the last 3 weeks do to a shoulder injury but until then and having fished here for the last 40 years I can say top water can be good early in the morning before the sun gets on the water.
  6. I 2nd the 254 good breakfast and awesome hand breaded tenderloin, the jumbo tenderloin will make 4 sandwiches.
  7. Can't fish right now but 10 1/2 inch worm on steeper banks where there is timber has always been good for me in the summer especially after dark. Plus its a lot cooler at night, my favorite time to bass fish in the summer. Like MOPanfisher said early early in the morning can be good on big worms and top water.
  8. I hope for your sake that the weather man is wrong for this weekend looks like it's going to be cool with rain and thunder storms.
  9. Hope you have a good safe trip down this way. I know exactly where your camp site is will try to swing by Friday afternoon and give you what little help I can.
  10. All white maribou jigs will work too
  11. These are the jigs we troll for white bass and really don't have to worry about getting them down just let them out about 30 yds or so and troll. In the evenings they are right on top chasing shad and usually any where from 4 ft. of water to the middle of the 2 coves right there by the marked area. Just look for them busting the surface.
  12. Area marked in red is where the white bass have been running good.
  13. Water level is basically normal but with my shoulder can't help you with the fishing. Only fishing info I have is some friends are still catching crappie on brush piles and still catching white bass trolling marabou jigs. I can see the while bass hitting shad about every evening at around 7:30-8:00 just about 200 yds south of the Wheatland camp ground cove ,on the flat mud point just south of the no wake bouys that run south of the west point of the camp ground cove. Hope that helps.
  14. I also have Korkers and been using the studded soles for the last few years on the White River and really like them. I wasn't sure when I first got them but I think they are better than felt just my two cents worth.
  15. Most sign shops can make them for you. Friends of mine have had theirs made at a sign shop here at Pomme.
  16. Sounds good I live right behind 254 cafe .could get together for coffee or a beer later in the day. We have been catching a lot of white bass trolling right outside of Wheatland campground cove we usually just troll with 1/8 oz. white maribou jigs. We usually troll crank baits that will dive to about 15 ft. on flat 1points and follow the break lines staying In about 14-16 fow for walleye. Usually do good on bass that time of year early and late in the day on 10 inch worms.
  17. We are in the Still Water cove just west of Wheatland camp ground. Unfortunately I just had rotator cuff surgery yesterday so my fishing is over for a few months. But like Brad said you are in a good area you should be able to go out any morning or evening and catch white bass and if your into night fishing I can put you on some good places for bass. Crappie should still be good. When you get down here we can get together after the holiday weekend is over and I will help you out as much as I can.
  18. Crappie have been good on main lake brush piles in 15 to 24 fow using 1/24 oz. jigs in white with glitter and shad colors. I caught 15 Saturday morning and me and a buddy of mine caught 25 Sunday morning.Haven't really bass fished in a few weeks but plan on leaving the crappie alone and doing some bass fishing in the morning will let you know how that goes.
  19. OK guys the lake dropped about 3 in last night caught limit of crappie this morning shad colored jigs. I've been catching them on main lake brush piles in 16 to 24 fow.
  20. Sorry my mistake lake is coming up not down
  21. Caught a limit of crappie off brush piles this morning on 1/24 oz jigs . Then done pretty good on bass on top water while it was still cloudy. Also been catching quite a few bass on jigs in 10 to 15 fow. on bluff ends and transition banks. White bass have been pretty good early and late in the day on shallow flats. Water temp right around 70 visibility 3 ft. or so. Lake is about 3 ft. High and falling as of now. Hope that helps.
  22. Yea it came up maybe 8-10 inches but visibility is still good just a lot of green crap floating on top.
  23. Yes you're right hoglaw 65 wouldn't be the very upper end. Guess just seems like the upper to me since most of my fishing on the Buffalo has been around the 14 hwy area south of Yellville.
  24. I haven't fished the Buffalo a lot but I have brother in laws that live down there and do. From what I get from them they like the upper end up around 65 hwy. They say there is a lot more big rock up there and good small mouth fishing.
  25. Still catching crappie on brush piles in 14 to 24 fow on 1/24 oz. jigs. Done good on bass early yesterday morning on top water, nothing big mostly 13 -15 inch males but a lot of fun.
