Had a similar situation at Aunts creek , foggy went across from ramp. Heard loud music, then ski boat and skier came out of mist, just crazy. Another time, after early morning fishing rounded Pt 10 at 9:00 am heading to ramp, three boats running abreast, headed to point between aunts & little aunts and bounced around a while. Summer time, what a wonderful event, limit my time between Memorial & Labor Day, not worth the risk.

Forgot to mention Bimini top is adjustable to lay on back deck in front of engine. Appreciate previous comment.

I have hummingbird helix 5 si/gps unit up front mounted to trolling motor. There is a way that with mmc card and multi-card reader to a usb port on computer. you are able to download recorded data from unit and use computer screen to enlarge views and pick up waypoints that can be transferred back to unit. Cost for mmc card and adapter is about $20 bucks. You can find on internet a step by step process which you can name point and info on a list. Been a while since I saw on tips and tricks of larger units that have same software installed. Have only used the side range to get larger pic on smaller unit. Believe tutorial is attached to a 1198 unit as far as how to setup and document all data. Of coarse the larger unit owners probably know more about this trick, just suggesting something I found a couple of years ago, maybe things have changed or updated. Just found that trick when I was updating equipment for next boat.

If you are talking lodging for only two with the possibility of renting a boat, it may be better to rent a cabin from local resort. You can use local realtors for search for lake front property. Table rock is becoming popular now, I would suggest further from Branson proper, the traffic is bumper to bumper at this time. I have lived in reeds spring for seven and owned house for eleven years; great people from all over the country, shopping is close, including fast food in Branson West. Average population in towns are two- three thousand. Lodging I would suggest Crest lodge or something in Branson west Kimberling city area. Realtor, Tammy Johnson 417 818 8297, she gave us an estimate on our house last fall and was most accommodating and informative.
