  1. Got mine today as well! Love that nymph Mike H.!
  2. Sorry, mic, somehow I overlooked the email with that comment! Thanks, Phil.
  3. Forgot to mention we will be there May 19-21.
  4. Sweet video! What's pole you have it mounted up high over your kayak?
  5. That's good information to have, Phil! Is that 6 including the guide, or 6 customers? I knew we could get a guide with a pontoon, or rent our own pontoon, for trout, but we were hoping to find a guide for walleye, crappie, catfish, striper, etc. Something along those lines.
  6. Hey all, I'll be in the Branson area with a big group of couples, and the guys are looking into finding a guide to go fish with. We don't know for sure that everyone will want to go out and fish, but it's possible. So I'm looking for a guide who can accommodate up 7 guys, not picky about species, but we would love to be able to have a fish fry at the end of the day with our catch! Also, driving to a different lake, Beaver for example, is also a possibility! So any recommendations? Personal experience? Thanks!
  7. Mine are in the mail!
  8. Mine are done. Just wanted to verify before I put them aside and starting on other orders, we only needed to tie 11, correct?
  9. Mine may be ready to go out this weekend as well!
  10. Haha DaddyO, I don't think anyone on this thread, much less this forum (except for a few!), knows anything about the AK yet! Also, I guess I should have put A$$ Kicker. I think the forum auto corrected me...
  11. That is sick! Care to share more about it??
  12. I'll be tying the butt Kicker (AK) Streamer.
  13. I have both a Peak and an Anvil Atlas. I just got the Peak, so I won't speak from personal experience on that one, but Peak's are very well known. I've had my Atlas for going on 4 years, and I haven't had any issues with it. I have tied from size 22 up to a 4/0 on the Atlas and haven't had any issues at all. The price point for both the Anvil and the Peak are fantastic as well.
  14. Any style of fly (streamer, dry, nymph, etc.) right?
  15. I'd love to join.
  16. I've had this on my list of 'trips to do' in the Ozarks for awhile!
  17. I was told earlier this week that an agreement had been reached about water flows. Has anyone else heard that?
  18. I agree with everyone, the Yeti's price tag is exorbitant. But, the reason I was asking was for comparison between the Yeti and it's price/popularity vs. other brands of rotomolded coolers such as the Grizzly, Orion, Igloo, Orca, Engle, etc. On the flip side, for anyone that just needs to keep drinks cold for a day of fishing, there's not point in spending several hundred $$ to do it. But for multiple day float trips, long road trips, wanting to look like your the shiz, a beefier cooler is almost a must.
  19. Yeah, I've been targeting carp for the last two years, my first one was touching 18lbs and was a blast. I just can't find them often enough! I guess I didn't think about those "lurkers." It just seems like there is a ton of fly fishing going on lately that isn't for trout, but here in the Ozarks it still seems like it its all focused on trout still. I would say smallies perhaps stripers (around me anyways) are the second and third spots. So I was just curious as to what everyone else thought. I'm starting to think there is more going on, we just don't see it as much.
  20. Www.arheadunters.com I've been with Brad Smith multiple times, and he is fantastic!
  21. These coolers are popping up everywhere anymore, it seems, but I'm curious as to everyone's preference who has one. Obviously the Yeti is probably the most popular, at least from where I'm sitting, but since are multiple other brands out there, is anyone using one of those? Do you like it? Pros? Cons? Or is the Yeti really a cut Above the rest?
  22. Perhaps I should have worded the question differently. What are the most popular to chase? I agree, I think Rainbows and Browns are at the top of that list... but what else is there?? Amery, you really think carp is on that list? That surprises me, I don't feel like I see that much about Ozark Carp fly fishing.
  23. Question for y'all.... Here in the Ozarks, what do you think are the most commonly chased species of game fish via the fly rod?? I'm sure some will be obvious, but curious as to what others will think.
