  1. Went down today also. Right before the rain hit it was like clock work and as the clouds moved in, it slowed way down. Had to cross the steel bridge to catch them as usual.
  2. Crappie tore it up one day when i couldnt get a bite on anything.
  3. I went crappie fishing with my buddies and used it for the first time and they were killing it. Watermelon red flake, tube and hair jig bite were few in between.
  4. Catchin em a lot on the banks around aldrich. Most are males still, hopefully the girls move in at some point.
  5. You might be able to catch some at the steel bridge on hair jigs...
  6. I can't wait to throw a big ugly worm. I usually throw purple with some type of flake in it close to dark, greens in the day.
  7. Most Ive seen are spawned out. Gonna try lantern at night soon.
  8. Wacked em! Those are some FATTIES! Think it might be time to clear the cobwebs off the old boat and get out.
  9. Thanks guys. I usually dont fish this time of year and I just recently have gained 24/7 access to a boat in a slip at the state park. Ill definitely try these things.
  10. What are everyones go to tactics/baits for fall fishing on Stockton?
  11. ^conservation said it would be bad this year but i never in a million years thought of this outcome. fishing for crappies is quite the workout this year.
  12. I got a call from one you guys that replied to my fishing buddy post. Sorry I had to work all day, but I did get the message. PM me if you could!
  13. Use some pliers and bend the hooks back a little bit. It makes it less weedless but youll hook up more.
  14. A guy got busted on the fishing dock at cedar ridge with 56 crappie, ALL SHORT with the shortest one at 6 inches. Several walleye 11" and under, all in 5 gallon buckets with no water. 18 fishing poles rigged to the front of the dock all unlabeled. Surely there are enough keeper size fish at stockton to not have to do that.
  15. Crappie spawn deep when the water is clear enough or if gets too late in the year and they are ready to go. According to Wally Marshall.
