Wow. Great fish. Congratulatio. Just a tad jealous!!!
  3. Oh I forgot I also am using my trolling motor. Moving at about 1.1 to 1.2
  4. I will say this. We haven't caught a lot yet but had some decent days. We have been focusing on about 18 to 22 ft of water that is next to a ledge or drop off into deeper water. Not really looking at points or flats. Just where I can find the correct depth next to a steep drop. Not saying that is the only place to catch them it's just where we have caught them. Iol. I am bad about if I find some Fish. I stay on them. Not sure about the line twisting situation. We buy pre packages spinners and have not had the line twisting. U might try a smaller swivel.
  5. Wife and I had 6 keepers 1 short in a 3 hr trip. I say wife and I. She had 5 keepers I had one. I wasn't to much help to her. We brought home 5. Same deal bouncer and spinner in 20 ft. Temps 63 main lake. Would have stayed longer but rain ran us off.
  6. I've fished Bill Shoals a couple times. We may go in June sometime for a couple days. We don't catch nearly as many as we do at Stockton. But catch a little better average. It kinda funny my best walleye 29.5 inches can from Tom Steed lake in Oklahoma. About 30 years ago when I was in the Army. Lol.
  7. WM. Thanks for a lot of good info. Will definitely be putting that to good use. We r hoping to catch some Fish with some size. What do your larger fish usually run up there.
  8. Going in July. Staying at Woodland resort. Any tips would definitely be appreciated. Do u seem to catch a few larger ones there?
  9. Have any of you guys ever been to Devils Lake North Dakota? Wife and sister and I have a trip planned there this summer. I have been doing a lot of research and it looks like it should be about the same pattern in July as we will have here. Most of their info says that 7 to 12 ft of water. We r hoping to catch a few bigger fish.

I use mainly the northland spinners I believe they r called real image. Everything yesterday were caught on golden shiner. But I also use clown, firetiger and perch. But I believe that most of the time it is not that important. Usually we are all using different colors and usually are pretty even on fish count by the end of the day. Sometimes one person will catch fire and out perform the others but usually pretty close. I believe that finding fish and staying on them. Boat control meaning speed and staying on top of the fish using your graph and lake maps puts more fish in the boat than anything else.

Wind was not fun at all. But didn't notice to much these two definitely keep u laughing. Yes WM about 1.1 to 1.2 was the ticket. Most of the just slammed the spinners instead of the tap tap that walleye r known for. It should do noting but get better with the steady warm temp next week. Having grilled walleye for supper tonight.
  13. Nice mess of fish. Wow what a large mouth. Great job

Limits with my favorite fishing partners my wife and sister. We had 14 keepers total and 4 shorts. Bottom bouncing spinners in 20ft.
  15. First limit of the year. Bottom bouncing spinners with crawler in 20 ft of water. Had five total. Hate thowing back legal fish. Lol
  16. Its all no wake the last I saw.
  17. Here is the pic from yesterday, forgot to up load it last night. I may get to go one more time tomorrow. Havent looked at the weather yet.
  18. Probably last walleye report for the year. Gonna start chasing ducks. Fished about 6 hrs today. Wife and I had 31 walleye total with 8 keepers pretty good day to end a year on mostly 16 to 17 inch fish. 19 to 22 ft of water bottom bouncing with spinner rigs. Off points and flats.
  19. Great job guys. Sister and her husband fish sunday had 2. She also said there was enough wind to go around.
  20. I don't know how to respond fishbait3. I have been doing exactly what I say I have. I don't take time to take many pics. And I would give you guys the gps coordinates of where I am doing it and exactly how. But not to be rude or anything but I give a lot of info on here but I stop short of telling everyone exactly what I am doing and how I am doing it. We have been very fortunate this year to have a lot of numbers. Our keeper numbers r way down I only have 75 keepers for the year. But like you said I like to catch walleye doesn't matter to me if they r keepers or not it is all fun. As for others/guides that say those numbers r hard to accomplish, I agree they r. There other guys on here that catch a lot of walleye and have posted they have caught more that I have. If your post was just that u were amazed that we have done as well as we have then please disregard my previous statements. lmao
  21. Still lots of shad and they r eating them too. A lot of them left in the live well at the end of the day. lol Fished last two days bottom bouncer with crawler harnesses 18 to 21 ' yesterday 2 0f us fished 21 walleye with 7 keepers today 3 of us 31 walleye with 7 keepers. I caught 16 today my self with only one keeper and it was barely 15". Unbelievable. lol
  22. Going tues and wed. looking forward to a couple days on the water. Thanks for the report.
  23. Great job, and thanks for the report. I had about the same success fished by myself had 28 with 14 keepers biggest 19". Crawler harnesses.
  24. Thanks for the report. Ha Ha wont find me on a Saturday and Sunday unless you come to work. lol We haven't done as well the last couple weeks but I will be on the lake tomorrow.
  25. Great fish congratulations.
